This was both an unexpected and fascinating episode. Many thanks Natalie for finding all these interesting guests and thank you Charlotte for your tremendous research.
I love the fact the tomb specifically ( and correctly) refers to Katharine as “Queen of England” because it definitely would have enraged Henry VIII who kept insisting that she was only the dowager Princess of Wales. It’s a nice reminder that Henry’s attempt to erase Katharine and her legacy has ultimately failed
The piece of music that is played near the beginnings of the podcasts - is that "Pastime With Good Company" (I think I have that title right) which is attributed to Henry VIII himself?
@@OntheTudorTrail It fits the setting, and helps set the mood. Great choice of music! And please tell Charlotte she is doing a wonderful job with her studies. I never knew all that much about Katharine's tomb, beyond that is the place where Katharine was buried.

I'll be chatting to Charlotte about Katherine Parr's tomb next month. Something to look forward to!
@@OntheTudorTrail It certainly is, many thanks again - Elizabeth Cumming

Exactly! It's really moving to stand by her mortal remains and pay tribute to her.
