It's a set seed run .. u basically look for a good seed and check all the items/rune/equip chests / number and location of upgrade scrolls U can't pull this off on a random seed cause some seeds loves to screw ur run
I strongly suspect cheating with how he used the identifying stone. Luck twice in a row? Unlikely. He also knew right away which scroll was for upgrading.
@@bfibelkorn um no. Seeded runs keep all the equipment types corresponding with the same scroll symbols and potion colors. The 'R' symbol scroll means upgrade scroll for this seed always. No cheating.
