I was born in 1944 and this video has blown my mind. For me, it is almost beyond belief to see and listen to this. The quality and editing is sooooo good. Man' I still think it is real. Elvis is not dead. He just came out of hiding......!!!!!!! . Great job Mr. Flanagan.

In the video you look so much like the young Priscilla! I never realized the resemblance until I saw this. Wonderful job, great idea. Amazing what can be done with technology, though I hope it won't be done TOO much. I've adored Elvis all my life, and the only thing I hate are Elvis jokes of any kind. I'm truly sick of all that. The job done with "making of the duets" was marvelous; the CD couldn't have been made without the great love and respect we have for Elvis, and that's what counts!
She's been doing it for 15+ years I think she has earned the right to be named one of the many queens of country music.
So amazing how they can use technology to bring back an legend in his own right.
I am a big, big Elvis fan. Martina McBride is a truly beautiful woman AND a great (country) singer. Being a video editor myself, I think that the Blue Christmas Duet with Elvis and Martina on the '68 Special is a technical marvel. It's a great tribute to Elvis. And much better and interesting than the one with Céline Dion. JUST ENJOY IT FOR WHAT IT IS: GREAT ENTERTAINMENT! I love Elvis' voice and music. And now I love Martina McBride which I didn't know well before seeing this. Beautiful.

Those who would think there was any disrespect involved should give their heads a shake. Elvis isn't here for people to sing with...and he'd be 80 years old in a month and a half if he were...so these duets are done out of respect for the legend. As someone who has worked as an Elvis Tribute Artist, I understand the desire to pay tribute to the greatest recording artist of all time. Things like this bring awareness of the legend of Elvis Presley to yet another generation...and that's a very good thing.

I am a fan of traditional country music and some classic rock, but I've always liked Martina McBride. The reason I have always liked her is because of a live performance I attended many years ago before I even really knew who she was. There was a big outdoor concert near Pittsburgh, PA and Martina was one of the acts on the show. The concert was absolutely terrible, not because of the performers but because of the weather. It was a summer concert but it was unusually cold, around 63 degree's, and it was pouring rain. Everyone that didn't have an umbrella was completely soaked, and even those with umbrella's were pretty wet because the wind was blowing the rain in all directions... The performers stayed underneath the stage and were dry while the rest of us were soaked and freezing cold. Martina McBride came out and sang her first song, and after she finished the first song she commented on how everyone was shivering and soaked, she said "if ya'll are wet and cold suffering just to hear me sing, then I am going to suffer with ya"! She came out from under the stage and sang in the rain! She was wet and cold just like the rest of us... but then there was a moment that I will never forget! If anyone who reads this was at that concert I am sure you will remember this... After singing a few songs in the rain, Martina said "we can pretend it isn't wet and cold can't we"? Everyone cheered as she started to sing the song "I can see clearly now the rain is gone" by Johnny Nash... During the song one of those magical moments in show business happened... by the time she got to the second chorus of the song, as she sang the words "I can see clearly now the rain is gone" the rain stopped and the sun shined through lighting her on stage as if it came from Heaven. The crowd all stood and cheered the rest of the way through the song as if Martina herself was responsible for making the sun shine! It was simply an amazing moment! I've never forgotten it. I wonder if Martina herself remembers that moment from so many years ago?

I'm 60 years old and I know all musical styles. I've been listening to Elvis since I was 12 years old. I appreciate any kind of good music. I also know all the songs by Johnny and June Cash-Carter (Great). However, Elvis remains the greatest musician and entertainer of all time. He implied all the power of his soul in all his songs. One could almost say: he gave away his whole heart to his listeners. So, in that way, this is definitely unique. Denis Herger

I watched the finished Elvis video first. I thought it was genuine because I didn't know who Martina McBride was. Then I watched the first 30 seconds of this and thought "Wow! She's aged amazingly." It seems my brain hasn't, I'll be mowing the garden with a vacuum cleaner soon.

I love elvis. I just got 2 of his CD's Christmas Bests and Duets at target for 5.99 each. i was so happy!
Previously, I listened to BLUE CHRISTMAS and searched Google what Martina Mcbridge looks like today. And.. Oops, well, surprise( singer singer born in 1966🤔.) But.. What do I think.; that it should be emphasized in this "clip", ... (And it would be better for Elvis fans), about Martina's "gluing" , editing. Well, but, respect for the wonderful "performance" with Elvis and congratulations to Mrs. Martina for the talent and idea, execution. SUPER. Only, yet... sorry I didn't know Mrs. McBride before

But the video looked like it was made in the 2000s. After a Google search and seeing her age (born in 1966 - which would make her 2 when Elvis did his 68 comevack) and also seeing on Google a TH-cam clip saying, "how the video was made"...I realised....good job Director and co

To be clear, the original "Come Back Special Show" was recorded in July 1968 they need it a few more months afterwards to tweak and edit footage to be ready for Christmas.
Martina was born on July 29, 1966, she would have been 2 years young when this historic performance took place, good job Martina! Love your 60's hairdo too, right on point.
