    So I bought this backpack as a woman not realizing that I probably should’ve got the women’s version and then I started to get buyers remorse. I was really glad that I watched this because it kind of justified me getting it in general still even if it will be too big. I also got it for half off so that makes me regret it less. Realizing that it’s great quality makes me feel better.

    I had an early version of this in the mid to late 90’s I think it was. It was my work bag for cycling and I used to put a hi viz vest under the front cord with the reflective stripe showing. I sold it after a number of years as it was just a little too big for my needs.

      Hey TT, thank you my friend. They're definitely great packs. I see what you mean about the material. Happy Birthday! fantastic review, Thank you! I already own the original borealis but was looking to upgrade, what are the straps like on the newer version as I'm not sure on the way they are fixed to the bag? I.E are they going to be strong enough?

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Adam. I hope you're well buddy. I have to say the straps feel super secure. They also have a great freedom of movement too as it's not the strap and padding that's stitched into the bag, and rather there's a thick 2" webbing that's stitched in from the strap. The previous version of the Borealis had a weird cut out which didn't seem as secure, whereas it feels like they've gone back to basic on this newer version. I hope that helps buddy

    • @MoorlanderEDC
      @MoorlanderEDC  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Dan. I have to agree with you to some extent. I think the brand did a cash grab move when they realised they'd make more money millennials. I think there could have been a better mix as they're only alienating fans. I think Rab, Montaine and others have got the balance right. Although... I think certain lines, like their backpacks, are still going strong. There's a lot of love for this pack, and maybe I'll pick up the OG Borealis classic to compare and contrast. All the best buddy

      Hi Baikal. Thanks for watching. It's definitely why TNF brought back the legacy version. It's a great backpack and well loved. If it ain't broken, then don't try to fix it... Maybe I should pick up an OG Borealis to test out and compare the two. Might a nice piece of content. Have an awesome week

      Hi FiF, guilty as charged. It is something I try to cut down on. However it does creep in. Thanks for watching my friend. I hope you're well and have an awesome weekend
