    What an ecellent follow up to the original story! I've enjoyed this writer's talent for some time now. The depth of description of what became the charachter is nearly unmatched. I am hopeful that there will be more expansion of some of the author's previous pennings in the future...

No freakin body could read that good of story like you and I mean NOBODY. I'm Cherokee American so I tend to be a bit soft for Native "stories". You had my undivided attention. I rarely do that. I'm 59 and ADD so it's not easy for me to give my full attention. If you're in uni, author, turn that in to your English class. That will get you a fast A+.

      @@oliviarinaldi5963 I'm not Native American, just spent a bit of time researching their myths, talking to a few people who lived on reservations, and read a few stories on the subjects of wendigos in order to write about them.
      I believe NT has narrated "At My Most Human State" a few months back. While a lot less true to the source material, "Fleshgait" might also interest you if you're looking for something that's built off of the idea of Skinwalkers. Anyways, have a good one, Olivia.

      I focused heavily on Wendigo psychosis for this story. The idea of societal/cultural-based conditions inspired my story (as I wanted to tell a non-supernatural story that focused on the characters themselves). Truth be told, I originally wanted to create a series based on realistic portrayals of Wendigo Psychosis, "Run Amok", and other cultural-based conditions that had roots in Native American, Thailand, and Nicaraguan culture.

    Huh, had thought of the Wendigo during the previous tale in this....saga? Maybe, maybe the author will take this further. Still phenomenal, good modern telling of a more modern iteration of the Wendigo. Not Wendigo Syndrome by exact modern definition, but damned close enough to be believable, top that off with the good analysis of the mental response and necessary situation to provoke such a mental response to become such an individual, and this is a damned good read/listen.

    • @EmpyrealInvective
      @EmpyrealInvective 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Glad you enjoyed this! Unfortunately, I have no plans to continue with the series as I feel like it's reached its natural conclusion. My main goal was to set up Kaneonuskatew as a Wendigo through a mix of modern culture (Wendigo Psychosis) and more historical beliefs and I feel like I accomplished that. While I could continue the series, I feel like it would become a bit redundant as I don't have a new direction to take it. For now, I'm calling this the end unless I come up with an additional piece where I feel like it would be a natural continuation of the story.

    • @FenrirKyuubi
      @FenrirKyuubi 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@EmpyrealInvective Oh sir, NOTHING to apologize for, as stated you did a PHENOMENAL job with a modern iteration of the Wendigo and wouldn't want you to continue if you felt you'd mar your creation by any means. As stated you definitely nailed it in my own humble opinion(Maniac for old myths and Lore as I am I can make no claim to a perfect understanding of the tales nor the modern definition of such). Write on where your passions take you and keep up the amazing work, and the intergrity IN your work by NOT trying to continue a story you feel complete!
