The suspension looks so plush. They definitely knocked it out of the park in that aspect. Without resorting to wonky knuckles or vulnerable shock mounting. In the videos it looks very flat and takes those jumps like nothing👌 personaly I hope they iron out the other issues because the machine has the looks and the suspension. And i like the interior ergonomics.
Thanks for the drama-free feedback on the Speed. It seems like so many videos get into egos, bad mouthing the car, and bashing Robby Gordon. Every 1st year machine is going to have its issues to work out. Have you used the Speed key yet? I'd like to hear more about the engine.
didn’t robby bash ever other car before his came out and the engines started blowing up. and didn’t he force desert sxs to take the speed out of there sxs comparison? the guy seem like and arrogant asshole.
I agree. But to be honest, RG brought the heat on himself and now we have to listen to all the 💩 talk. He needs to just shut up and let the product do the talking. People would probably be more interested in purchasing if he did.

If robby would have just not fked around and did the yamaha motor or a 4 cyc NA motor we wouldnt be having these problems. Mines been at speed for weeks getting repaired. Went and bought a pro r 4 today. Well see if the pro r makes me sell my speed...
If I remember correctly early on they tried to get a Yamaha engine. Yamaha said no. Then they tried Suzuki but their their factory and tooling was lost in a natural disaster.
@keitharnett2647 most definitely the best all around utv are the market plus you can't beat dohc inline4 engines they are bullet proof and sound great. Plus I think the pro r is the best for the money.
Big question...I have been waitng for my SPEED for 3 years now with no end in sight. Is it worth the wait will the issues they are having? We are now hearing you have to run additive with the speed key to run E85 witch is the reason I purchased the SPEED for the dunes. Just add fuel... E85... and go...I really like that option. Then you have the turbo ... front diff and who know what else. I just want to know they have ironed out the issues or should I just sell my spot and wait a few years. I love the looks and design just tired of waiting.
Id rather have live valve than clickers. Ive had a pro r premium and pro r ultimate launch edtion and i like my ultimate LE more. Is the speed better in the whoops yea but thats it.
Another informative video Nick, well done. I’m still in a holding pattern waiting for my El Diablo so I’m not sure if the ride heights you mentioned will apply, but can you tell me where you measured from or the reference points. Thanks Bill
As a pro R owner i can say the speed looks great and suspension is awesome but that is it really wish aftermarket and and robby make the speed great again, but now the EPS upgrade wtf we were told hydro was superior. Thx for the review it aint cheap
You pay all that money for that supposedly miracle car and suspension and you have to update the suspension and put different stuff on it and then speed offers a kit not worth it
I feel like all 4 seaters have the most problems due to the weight. Im hoping the diablo puts less strain on parts and suspension. Any updates on the engine and axle damage?
When you raised the ride hight for hard pack did you move the crossovers down so they keep the stock stroke for the upper spring to lock out? If so how many inches front & rear did you set the crossover from the slider?

in the just finished dakar-rally, nearly everybody used REIDERsuspension-shocks, it would be very interesting to mount a set and compare to the speed
What do you do besides this sxs stuff? Like what pays the bills?
Best SXS would be Speed chassis, Pro-r engine with turbo or supercharger, maverick r transmission, rhino price.

Yes, hopefully Speed is covering all engine issues since you’re probably over your 6month warranty.

You do know the Diablo weighs 44lbs less than the El Jefe right? El Diablo = 2684lbs vs El Jefe = 2728lbs
