In principle correct and easy to follow for a Newbie to Eclipse. However, Eclipse, as it appears, seemed to care little for saving the content of "MyJs.js", as amendments to "First.html" were being saved. Normally all open files in a project get saved with Ctrl-S. Do they not? Guess those are the hidden treasures in learning the workings of an otherwise perfectly good new tool.
When I installed Eclipse, it asked me what flavor of Eclipse to use, and I had to choose JavaScript. Maybe there's a way to change the flavor after it's installed? Or something. Maybe a 2nd installation. I'm not sure how that works.
i dont have the "/" and the "*" and my HTML-file wont open in eclipse ;/ or, it opens but i dont get the popup that displays "300" :/ I just switched perspectives from Java, to JavaScript in Eclipse, should i download something extra? EDIT: Changing between browsers in Preferences wont work ;/

I think you should check your function name where you called in the alert box. that should be same as your .js page function name.
When I click play button in eclipse nothing happens
Did you save both files?
