Puma is such an underrated brand. I wouldnt have considered them 2-3years ago. I am digging their new direction. Todd is one of the better presenter so far from what i can see, to the point, and smooth plus engaging with viewer and interviewer.
Hats off to Todd, straight to the point explanation of the updates and great demo of deconstructed midsoles!
Puma taking over 2023
Liberate! Version 1 was was my favorite shoe of the year, glad it’s staying in the lineup. I feel like brands have to almost apologize for low-stack shoes in the current market, but the Liberate has been amazing as a shoe that feels at home on a 5mi daily run or ripping 200m repeats on the track. 🙌👟
Agree! Also as an experienced runner in my 40s running distance since high school it is important to keep some light weight flexible shoes in rotation to keep feet and stabilizing muscles strong :-)
Agreed. Liberate Nitro 1 has been my regular track workout shoe in 2022. It is also a good treadmill shoe. I didn't like it so much on the road due to excessive ground feel (for me). From another channel I learned that it is getting 2mm more stack and probably more foam required a bit higher durometer, but both will be good to dull the ground feel on the road. Unfortunatey gaining a bit weight as a result of these changes. Hopefully it will remain viable for track use.

No Puma in Finland, but I bought mine elsewhere and really like the velocity nitro 2. Also great presentation. None of that marketing bs but just straight to the point, great.

SO EXCITED for the liberate nitro 2!!!! the first one was my go-to tempo shoe, it has amazing groundfeel & grip on the wet and/or icy track. also at a great price. glad puma is sticking with this one

I have many brands in my running shoe rotation but still haven´t bought any Puma, but i think my first Puma might be the Puma Deviate Elite 2 :)
That’s the problem with Puma: very limited distribution. Here in Brazil it has been absolutely impossible to buy the Fast-R. I think it will happen the same with this Fast FWD.
For those that are on the fence about Puma, they have made big "steps" in the right direction. Im still loving my original Deviate Nitro.

I am looking forward to the 2023 Puma Nitro line.
Love the Velocity NItro 2 and Deviate Nitro 2, but they are so tough to find in size 13 and impossible to find at any retailers locally. Would love to see the product pushed to more brick and mortar stores. Overall, one of my favorite brands for running these days, and as others have stated already, this wouldn't have been the case 2-3 years ago. Love what I'm seeing from Puma 100%.
The downside of being pushed to brick and mortar is that price will have to go up to give some margin to the stores. I like the way it is. Keep the price low for great shoes.
for comfort ride velocity or deviate?
The Liberate 1, in my opinion, is the best running shoe with a low profile, wonderful for those who like to run short distances close to the ground in a fast mode, but it's the most underrated Puma running shoe. I hope the version 2 is as good as the first.

Why other companies don't focus more on the insoles is beyond me. Good job Puma. I just hope their shoes stop fitting too long which is an issue with Puma shoes I've tried. Want to try this Magnify 2.

I returned to serious training about a year ago and had such high hopes from the carbon plate hype. Unfortunately, the extreme front rocker and curvature designs leave me feeling like my toes are falling off the front of the shoe and I'm a non-responder / negative-responder to the extreme rockers. The flatter plate in the FastForward might be ideal if the foam in front of the forefoot didn't taper down to nothing under the toes. The nitro foam and Pumagrip is outstanding, and I'm replacing all my shoes with Puma (non-plated) as my rotation wears out! Great job, Puma!

I`m from Argentina and I was wondering when the Magnify Nitro 2 will reach the retail shops.
I started to run with the Magnify Nitro Surge, and I can't believe that the M.N. 2 still didn't got here!
Guess I'll go for the Forever Run Nitro.

The Fast Forward 5-10k shoe sounded great until I heard the price, $250? That's way more than the Streakfly and Takumi Sen 8, granted it has a carbon plate but even the NB Pacer which also has a plate does not cost as much as that for a low-mileage racer.
So no word on Velocity 3😢
