For the postcards from spirit deck it would be super fun and neat to leave individual cards in like books in book stores and in isles in stores for people who need to hear those messages to find!

I laughed because the first two decks you featured I constantly mix up in my own collection, and I think I even used to Believe In Your Own Magic listed on my wishlist as "Ethony-ish." 😂 I looooove that Heavenly Bodies system omg! I wasn't drawn to the imagery when I saw it but now I'm tempted by the way you can put things together. That said I'll probably look up some more images, since I'm an astrologer and might have feelings about the choices 😂
Re: the overwhelm when you have too much so you don't reach for either, I get it too either until I let go of something or I clearly define where I use one versus where I use the other.
Have you ever asked a deck if it wants to stay or go? I wanted to cull my collection and some decks i never reached for and actually asked them if they wanted to leave. Most gave me a chariot or knight card wich meant move me to thd next preson to me. Some others answered with high priestes so to me meant to go deaper with them, or ace of something for beginning of journey with them.
I think the creator changed the bottom font on the current version of The Curious Oracle to be more readable. I agree the script on the older edition like yours (which is what I have also) is hard to read. I did get the online guidebook but have not read it yet. I am hoping the guidebook makes me love and use the deck because right now I never use it, but can’t seem to part with it either! PS - seeing a new video by you in my feed always lifts my heart and watching your videos are my treats for the day!

My personal opinion is having both internal and external self care cards could be very useful in Self Care readings. Obviously you have to go with what resonates with you and your reading style. But sometimes an external self care practice can help with internal self care too. I'm SO excited to get the I'm Here deck when it releases! I backed in on kickstarter. I'm so excited to pair it with Reclaim and possibly the Sacred Self Care decks for sure, and possibly some others in my collection.

I’m the opposite. I have Forest Fae, so as far as I’m concerned, I’ve got Fae energy covered and I don’t need any others. But then, I fell in love with Forest Fae the moment I opened it and I’ve never actually shelved it, it just lives on my desk. If the Curious Oracle weren’t OOP, I’d be looking at ordering it right now. All your mini oracles look like such a happy family, honestly. I backed I’m Here too and I’m really looking forward to it. I think it will pair nicely with Light Sprite and with the Prism Tarot (as well as warm it up a bit, as I find this deck a bit chilly). Work Your Light has never called to me, but I’ve been drooling over Threads of Fate for a while. I really really love that style of art. One of these days I will spring for one version or another of it. I was never clear on what I would do with an astrology deck until this video. I’m intrigued now, but I still don’t know what time I was born. 😕 This wasn’t even what I came into TH-cam for, but I saw you had a new video and I had to watch it. Some one of these days I have really got to go through my collection and make a trade list.
Split up the post cards from spirit. Give a card to strangers. Send a single card to someone you are thinking about. I think you could have a lot of fun dispersing this deck.
I sold my Believe in Your Own Magic. It felt like something that my pre-teen self would have loved but didn't really hit home for my almost 30yo self lol. The messages didn't ever really hit home or seem like they were for me. The artwork really is beautiful and I appreciated the different body sizes represented, but I didn't love that it's so youth and beauty/aesthetic focused. Adding onto this comment as I watch... Love my Enchanted Map Oracle. A bit bummed the new version came out so soon after I paid full price for the old one lol. Sticking with my original copy, especially since it's my first oracle deck. Aaand I just ordered the Roots and Wings mini oracle finally, while watching this video lol.
yah I can totally see the disconnect for some with Believe in Your Own Magic... it does skew young, but so far that hasn't been an isuse for me. :D Enchanted Map is a hidden gem!! Hooray for Roots & Wings!
I enjoyed this but I do wish you'd bring back audience voting into these videos. I'm not familiar with many of the decks in your collection and it's always fun to see what other people think of them as you're making your decision.
Ohhhh! I will try to remember to bring back the voting for the next one!!! I think my problem the last couple of ones is they've been fairly spontaneous (i get hit with the 'bug' to do it and then just film it) LOL but if I can get my act together to plan ahead I will do that!
What do you do with decks that are gifted to you by friends/family that you don't connect with? I have a this or that situation but the deck I would normally re-home was a special gift.
I think it depends. If it was the type of special deck that you want to hold onto or 'collect' as a bit of nostalgia, there's nothing wrong with that... but if you really want to let it go, one thing I've done in the past is taken a picture and typed up a few words for myself about what that gift meant to me and the circumstances and saved it digitally so that I can still have the memory of the gift but also not hold onto it. I also find sometimes re-gifting those more special decks feels better than trading or selling them. :) So that's something to think about too.... you could always kind of pay it forward if you want!
Awesome to see all this! Your This or Thats are addictive and so motivating. I love the Oracle of the Radiant Sun, but I definitely feel like I get more out of it from having experience with astrology and being dedicated to Hellenistic instead of modern astrology. It's very predictive, it's very complex, and it definitely has a distinct flavor compared with modern astrology. The structures are a lot more rigid and... harmonious? Like it would be difficult to make a modern astrology deck with a single keyword for "Planet in Sign" because I feel it's not as easily disseminated, it's very fluid and finds meaning more in additional bodies and the myriad relationships between them. I don't know if I'm fully articulating what's in my head, but I guess I'd say that I would not be surprised to find out that, given your intuitive spiritual "style", you're more drawn to modern astrology and the Placidus (uneven) house system rather than the traditional system the Radiant Sun is based on. If you're ever curious about a rundown between different types of astrology/different "systems", maybe I'll make a video on it!
I love that cloth! I really don’t use Oracle decks. Still trying to get up to speed on the Rws system, so I haven’t really dipped my toes into oracles yet. You did a great job on separating the decks. I received the mini Monstarot today. I’ve been messing with it all morning. 💚

Have you looked at the Chakra Reading Cards by Rachelle Charman? It is the only Chakra deck I have really resonated with. I do have that little Chakra love deck too. Just got it recently and haven't played with it much yet.
I think it may be Out of Print now. :( When I got it, it was hard to find - but I found a retailer the creator had linked to who had a couple copies. And it was sold out shortly after - havent' seen it anywhere since :(
Nope! :) I think if I ever had a deck that I was seriously on the fence about - I might do an interview or ask the deck what the heck it has to say about it... lol but so far I've always made up my mind without that. :D

There's a variety of ways to rehome decks. I list mine occasionally in the weekly tarot trade tuesday event that I host in my Facebook Group, Supportive Tarot. Mass Market decks typically get bundled up and taken to a local used bookstore or metaphysical store in exchange for store credit. Some people rehome them on specific tarot resell/trade groups or through Facebook Marketplace or Craigslist.... eBay is another option! :)

I love my Threadbound Oracle since it occupies a very special place in my practice, between tarot and oracle.
I recommend reading the map, I enjoy knowing Colette's take on the cards, it's added depth to my understanding of the cards that have vague keywords.

I've been looking for a good charka deck too. Once I get my paycheck I am going to look at the Self Love Oracle.
