I just got a Google pixel as my secondary phone and accessibility on android is interesting. One thing I noticed compared to iPhone is that you can use talkback jesters with one hand more easily than his voice over Chester’s. Magnification is great since you only need your thumb and not three fingers like on iPhone. Great video by the way. Curious to see what Google does to better improve folding phone experiences.
Awesome video. The new fold looks tall like the Z fold. I have aspect ratio issues for some apps too on my Z fold. Zooming has the orange border around the outside only. Still the Pixel fold has come a long way and looks good. I would actually use it.
@@carrieonaccessibility Yeah I would. What is cool on the Z fold is that fullscreen magnification, magnifies above the keyboard when using Gboard; allowing you to pan around while the keyboard stays at its regular size. But, if you need to magnify the keyboard or emojis or something like that, then just change to one of the lens sizes. Flawless, smooth movement and magnification.
Of course you would point out the clickiness of the buttons lol. I really need them to bring back physical fingerprint sensors back to phones that are not foldable.
I feel like so many of us want this. I hope it becomes true... I mean, just because under the screen finger print scanners are more "advanced" doesn't make it better.
Hi, I would like to know when you do the colour inversion, would it refresh the web page or restart the app which is on the screen? I used to use the pixel 6 pro and I really enjoyed it using it, the only issue is that every time I do the color inversion, the web page or the app would be refreshed, and that was really annoying, which made me switched to a Samsung phone
YES. This continues to be an incredibly frustrating issue that I don't know if Google will ever fix. When I used to use the Pixel 2 XL it was never a problem. That's one reason i do miss using a samsung phone, but there are some things I just really like on Pixel.
Did the new pixel fold ship unfolded? I think I remember the original pixel fold shipping folded. The reason I ask is because I noticed Galaxy fold devices ship unfolded and at first the crease seems like it is not there but as you have it longer and keep folding it and keep it shut longer, the crease will become more prominent. So I wonder if over time the new pixel fold will have just as much of a crease as the old one.
It was shipped unfolded. And that's interesting. I wonder if that is so, but I did end up returning it so I'm not really sure how it would be over time. How is your Z fold? I think you got one, right?

Yes, they both have their pro's and con's and I have an android as my daily driver and an iphone as my secondary phone. :)

Really? I can't remember what its like on the Z Fold form last time. If so, that would be so much freakin better!

Eager to see how the new Pixel 9 Pro Fold stacks up against the original-let the foldable showdown begin!
I love how you put that!

Thanks for the comparison!
I'm glad it was helpful!

Yeah, I have the Fold 6. The crease is definitely deeper than it was on day one. I can't tell if it looks any different, but I can feel it for sure.
Nice job my friend
Thanks!
Can you try out the improved Guided Frame on the new Pixel?
I did try it and it's pretty good! :) I made a video about it here. th-cam.com/video/AfIOcz51Zyg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=-n78Uw3fdNcCOiDa
@carrieonaccessibility have seen that. But that was the 8 series. I read that the 9 series has more improvements, so would love a demo.
