    Why? He absolutely hates the Jets and why would he go into that situation in the middle of the season. There is literally no upside here for him and have I mentioned he absolutely hates the Jets?

    I need this explained to me like a child: Why can everything be solved with Brady or Bellichik? Why can't sports media let these two be? I take nothing away from Bellichik's achievements, but it boggles me how he gets this free pass by the media to coach anywhere after his last couple seasons in New England. What about Mike Vrabel? Pete Carroll?

    • @cityhawk

      Because even to the most casual football fan, they’re still the most recognizable names in the sport. The media will still spout their names to garner more eyeballs. Nothing more.

    Bill Cowher has not coached for an NFL team for 17 years. He’s not coming back. Let’s mention the other name that comes up in these situations…Jon Gruden! Oh wait, he’s a pariah now. No one is taking that job until next season. Woody Johnson fired Robert Saleh with a 2-3 record. Great move. The only reason Woody Johnson isn’t the worst owner in the NFL is because Dave Tepper is still the owner of the Carolina Panthers.

    Why do people keep thinking Belichick would even consider the Jets? He h@tes them with a passion. He literally left the Jets due to uncertainty with the sale of the team. Woody has proven to be a bad owner. Woody speaks to the media too much, Belichick can't stand that. They hired Eric Mangini from the Patriots when Belichick was the Patriots HC. The Jets and Eric Mangini played a big role in snitching on Belichick for Spygate. Belichick wouldn't tolerate Jerry Jones as an owner because he gets too involved in the team and the coaches business. Woody isn't as bad as Jerry with that, but he still does it a little. Belichick wants an owner like Kraft that stays in his lane, doesn't go to the media, and just let's him do his thing.
    Belichick would never consider the Jets. There isn't anything that he likes about that organization, he spent years trying to screw them over, and there is a lot of bad blood there. Please stop wasting time even discussing it. You would have to pay him $100+ million a year and I bet he would do everything to screw the Jets. He would probably trade all of their draft picks to the Patriots or something to put the 🔪 in their side and watch them bleed out. Lol

  • @cityhawk
    @cityhawk 13 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

    Ben Johnson (OC of the Lions) is my favorite for the Jets head coaching gig. Defense isn’t the issue, it’s the offense that’s in dire need of a kickstart. He’s done wonders for the Lions offense. Making them one of the potent offenses in the NFL. It wouldn’t hurt the Jets organization to give him an interview and see what he can do. Vrabel isn’t a bad choice, but the Jets need someone more forward-thinking in their approach.

    This is the problem with sports talk shows. Since its only entertainment not the news people will say anything to draw attention. The bigger the name the better and there's no name bigger than Aaron Rodgers. He's the reason why the O-line can't pick up the blitz. He's the reason why the O-line can't create lanes for the run. He's the reason why he's been sacked a season's amount in 5 weeks.

    I'm sorry, but this is such a stupid take. Why would a Canton-bound HC, probably the greatest to ever do it, go to cursed organization in the middle of the season & answer to an owner he genuinely loathes? And at this stage in his long life? Makes no goddamn sense, and there's no amount of money which he'd be tempted with. Period. Don't debate these facts.

    • @geoffreywadsworth7400

    • @archie15900
      @archie15900 14 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา

      An example of him being a diva? Sure. (1) On his new team with new teammates, he does not play any pre-season games and does not attend the mandatory mini-camp for the team so there is no rapport at the start of the season. (2) Is insistence on Hackett being the OC because apparently "the two became brothers" in Green Bay when this crappy, outdated play calling is the main issue with this team (3) Insisting on playing GM for the Jets and undermining the coach with (in addition to Hackett)...making sure Tim Boyle is the backup QB, Lazard is the WR, (4) Rodgers being childish in Green Bay when they drafted Jordan Love and calling out the young receivers there (who seem to be having absolutely no problem there now) (5) All of his lying and crazy political crap during the covid thing and saying he was immunized when he knew this was a lie and stated this on Joe Rogan. (6) Stupid quotes like "anything that we're doing in this building that has nothing to do with winning needs to be reassessed" and then....see numbers 1, 2 and 3. . He says he needs to hold himself accountable, yet he never does.
