Edward, I have three years experience in jack of all trade for a restoration company and working on my fifth month for a plumbing service providers. I am very interested and always wanted to work for my self. My dream is to become a one man vendor and work for property managements. I’m really close on getting my contractor licenses in the state of California. But the service I’m offing will be under the radar of $500. Do I still need a contractor license or just permit and bond to legally operate for a property management company?
Wish you were in N. VA and could help me! Not sure on what CA requires. I think its a good niche, but if you work for a PM co. they should provide the requirements.
