Just a suggestion but maybe use a ruler or some type of guide as you go down the list to avoid mistakes?
Hi Desiree, first I want to say thanks for your videos. You have inspired me and I’m almost ready to start my budgeting journey. I’m just confused about the unstuffing. Could you do a video to explain where the money goes and how it’s used for each category you saved for? Like does it all go to one savings and if so, how do you allocate what was saved for each. And I saw a video where you unstuffed and some went to checking. How do you decide that amount and why? Hope all that makes sense. Again, thanks for sharing and teaching
You might watch her shop with me videos it shows how she spends her envelopes and in different places just not all at 1 place. Her unstuffings are from her credit card purchases that’s how she knows how much per category to pull out.
@@AJthecrazycatlady I thought she only used credit card for bills and dollars when she goes shopping. I’m so confused 🤔 Thanks for explaining 🫶🏽
@@AJthecrazycatlady I meant her unstuffings when she takes the money back to the bank? Does it all go to one savings account or is there separate accounts for the categories. If it’s goes back to one account how she remembers what was saved for each category when she needs to use that money.
@@lchurt220 oh gotcha it all goes back to her checking account so she can pay her credit card off. There are a few times she has some that she puts into saving during the unstaffing and I believe she just has 1 savings account but she tracks how much is in each category by her trackers.
@@lchurt220 she uses her credit card for online purchases like Amazon or ordering take out

I see you stuff Disney often for going there on certain days, etc. But I never notice an envelope where you save up for your annual pass or that kind of thing. Do you just do that as a family thing and it gets taken care of that way? Or maybe it is a part of your subscriptions envelope?
If I'm not mistaken, I think she classifies that as a bill. So it stays in her account.

@@deeparsons3576 it's a planner conference that is held somewhere different every year. It was Texas this year. It's where everyone who loves planning etc goes for a great time, you meet friends and make new ones and also get a lot of freebies.
