"Lloyd would never do that to Harry " literally did that to him earlier
I don't think Harry's original intention was to steal Lloyd's girl. At the moment he just found it too awkward to introduce his shy friend, I think it was accidental.
@@ckobo84I think that's an underrated aspect of this movie. The realism of Harry's reaction to the entire situation. His intentions actually appeared to be genuine, but he was in too deep before he could fix it.
That "You wanna hear the most annoying sound in the world" bit was improvised
Always a good day when Seb’s uploaded
Fr
Indeed 😌✨
@@mamapolarbear8567You are beautiful don’t let anyone tell you otherwise:)
alex hefner
I don't think he picked up on the Austria / Australia joke? He's not exactly a rocket scientist himself.
Another movie that shaped my humor as a kid! I used to say “don’t go dying on me!” all the time 😂
Me too! That and the lil vommy sick face Lloyd makes standing in the snow seeing harry drop mary off 😂😂😂
I still to this day say “kick his ass sea bass”
I have my 13 y/o son quoting this movie these days. I’d say I won at the game of Parenting haha! 😋
LMFAO I do also to the people older than me at work
this is probably my most quoted movie as well... "extra gloves" "Big Gulps huh?" "did YOU get a gun?" lol so many
Our pets HEADS ARE FALLING OFF. Amazing delivery
Me and my brothers would scream that when something wasn't going our way. haha such a great line 😂😂
Dumb and dumber was 30 years ago. Crazy lol.
Can’t believe Seb didn’t realize the kid that they sold the bird to was blind 😂
"OUR PETS HEADS ARE FALLING OFF " favorite line in the whole movie 😂
at 16:41 jim carrey improv this to the people outside the gas station they were filming at lol
he improvs in every movie bruh lmfao
Well, cya later! So funny lmao
He referred to the waitress as “Flo” from 70s comedy sitcom “Alice” then got her own show “Flo”. Actress Polly Holiday kept us viewers in stitches. Great one-liners. They kinda look alike😂
Always appreciate when people remember this.
I was looking for this reply. As a kid living on a farm with only 3 television channels, I absolutely loved watching Alice. Kiss my grits!
"No it's a Cardigan! But thanks for noticing!" Is my favorite line from any movie ever. Its a perfect joke.
You NEED to watch Jim Carrey in Me, Myself, and Irene ! 😂
Ace ventura too
“The town is back that way”. Your facial expression is hilarious 😂😂😂
“Use your eyes, boy, come on” 😂😂😂 Never, ever heard that reaction to this plot point
The audio clip 6:04 “I got robbed by a sweet old lady on a motorised cart” was my AOL IM message notification 😂😂😂😂
24:38
"Any girl would cry. I would cry"
Me- yeah, like you said 😂🔥🔥
💀
Fun fact: Jim Carrey chipped his tooth as a child and had his dentist remove the cap as he felt this would suit the character but without informing the directors or film crew before doing so
This movie has never struck me as a mom type of movie lol
Jim and lauren holly started dating from this movie and got married but it only lasted like a year.
When he says excuse me Flo it’s a reference to a sitcoms called Alice from the 70’s and it was a about a woman who ends up working at a diner on Arizona and one of her co workers is a woman named Flo who dated a lot of men and her catchphrase was “kiss my grits”
People used say she’s got a nice pair of headlights if a woman’s big boobs.
My grandma absolutely LOVES this movie! I remember when it came out - she laughs SO hard at the diarrhea scene!
When i got to my first unit in the Army, i walked into a room with a couple guys who were a rank higher than me and let them know of something they needed to know (i forget now what it was), but they just nodded and stared at me, trying to make me uncomfortable as the FNG. I let a couple beats go by and said, "big gulps huh? Welp, see ya later." They both cracked and were like okay that was good. One of my proudest achievements in my military career. Dumb and dumber prepared me perfectly for that moment.
I was hoping this would be uploaded today!!!! Made my Friday! Thanks, Seb!!
i have seen this movie dozens of times, but when i saw your post, i had to watch your reaction. i laughed watching YOU laugh at parts that i wouldnt laugh at anymore by myself! :*)
"Extra gloves?!" It's INSANE that Jim Carrey released this, and Ace Ventura AND The Mask in the same year. That's more success than most people's entire careers.
"his head fell off :(" is still a common phrase in my household
LETS PUT ANOTHER SHRIMP ON DA BARBIE !!! AHHH this movie always kills me 🤣🤣🤣
3:44 I was just reading about driving with cheap sunglasses. If the airbag comes out it will shatter the plastic and possibly take out an eye. They say if you're going to drive with them you should get polycarbonate lenses.
One of my fav movies of all time 🔥🕺🏾
27:32 “use your eyes” he says- the kid’s BLIND ffs 😂
British sarcasm mate
i think Bruce almighty and liar liar are his bests❤🎉
@@dimitrakapa4887 No, Dumb and Dumber is and Me, Myself and Irene is a close second (for comedies).
27:27 he couldn’t use his eyes; he is blind (unable to see) 😂🤣
We heard they were gonna be in town filming so my mom took me to go see them when they were filming the part where they were at 7/11. I got to see the master at work! When they were done, Jim came over and signed my shirt. Epic
4:14: Sebastian, you’ve actually surprised me for once. Along with the post-credits Moana moment. James “Jim” Eugene Carrey: January 17th, 1962.
Now I got it. Your voice and manners reminds me of the actor playing Moriarty on Sherlock. Finally I could pinpoint what you reminded me off. Amazing series as well.
Those guys with the “big gulps” was not scripted by any means.
I haven't seen a ton of commentaries with the movie 'spirt stallion of the cimarron'. It's genuinely one of the best movies because of it's ability to show and not tell.
Highly recommend a watch!
11:46 This dude he's on the phone with, gives me Bruce Wayne vibes just by looking at him, for some reason 😂
That chipped tooth is actually his real chipped tooth. He let them remove his cap to have that he in the movie. Dedication!
1:31 Au Jus sandwiches are slow-cooked roast beef, Provolone, and a broth called Au Jus. The sandwich is served on a Hoagie bun or long type bun, and you dip it into the Au Jus. It's very good.
MOCK! YEAH! ING! YEAH! BIRD! YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!🗣️🤣
One of my favorite movies of all time! Classic fun, good humor, drama doesn't give you second hand embarrassment, and the entire cast is perfect! Such a good movie.
16:44 fun fact: this was completely unscripted and was shot at a real gas station. They were regular customers and had no idea what was happening.
The diner scene with the salt was filmed in my town
Nice.
"Lloyd's bad, but he would never steal your girl" LOL
🥰one of the best movies, it’s a Classic ❤️
That diarrhea scene is forever engrained into my memory lol XD lives there rent free.
I still recall some talk show, some kind of comedy thing, where that actor was talked to about his more refined roles and such, but every time they would go "We have a clip of that", it would then show that toilet scene again.
There is an inception-style trailer for this movie. It's so good, the maniacal laugh at 27:20 gave me chills.
The last scene confirms the title of the movie. After Harry said that "Town is to the right" that was dumb, but then comes Lloyd with dumber "no it is in other direction".....
Music by *Todd Rundgren* .
17:13 they made me yawn right as you were saying stop it haha
9:10 I don't know the name of the actor for the Police Man, but I've only seen him in one other movie called Half Baked. You should react to it
Seb: " Don't people have to have their tongues cut off?"
🙄 🤣 🤣
Never clicked on a reaction video so fast 😭 i love this movie
the Big Gulps scene plays in my head like three times a week
I’ve been waiting for this reaction for literally a year, this is the funniest movie that I have ever watched 😂
I wonder whether it was in the script for Karen Duffy to stratch her arse at 6:57 😂
Flo was the name of a character in the 80s comedy sitcom Alice ,which took place almost exclusively at Mel's Diner.
Fun fact: that ending was a little too ..."typical" according to jim carrey, so he wanted harry and lloyd to not have a happy ending, but just an ending.
Im from Rhode Island and the Mutt Cutts van would be at car shows in Providence. Truly a stunning vehicle
Flo was the name of a waitress in a diner in a very popular 70’s movie and subsequent long running tv show in the states.
One of my favourite lines is the Cardigan one
i love it how often you you upload your videos
2:16 that is his actual chipped tooth!!!
I had the vhs of this back in the mid 90s, absolute classic, watched it so much the tape went bad and the first few minutes were fuzzy! :D
LOL! It takes more than 40+ min to drive from one part of Houston, TX to another. Usually closer to an hour, depending on where your start point is 17:02 I live in San Antonio and most places are like 20-30 min these days with traffic
Love this movie...what is funny about "Flo" at the diner. It was a comedy sitcom in the 80's of a waitress at a restaurant who was country and outspoken.
Now it’s time to watch Dumb & Dumber To!!
Flo is a reference to a sitcom called Alice. Flo is a waitress at Mel's Diner, the place the main character (Alice) works.
The joke was almost outdated when the movie was made.
Mel, kiss my grits!
My older brother & I love that film & also The Mask & Ace Ventura!!
We watched them all when we're little. 🤣🤣🤣🥰🥰🥰💖💖💖
You know when you watch something Seb reacts to and you don’t laugh but when you watch him you die of laughter
Flo was a waitress in a TV show from the late 70s/early 80s called "Alice". In this show, Alice was a waitress at "Mel's Diner", and had a co-worker named Flo, and she was southern and used to say "Kiss my grits!" a lot.
What Lloyd should've said to Harry at the bar was, Rapier Wit, as in someone who is quick-witted. 😆
one of the best films from my childhood!! a great character to share a name with😊
My favorite part of this is watching Seb trying to use common sense to figure some of this movie out. 🤣 🤣 🤣
Yesss been waiting for your reaction for ages. Goat of a film
I can't stop laughing at 12:58 because he yelled "aaahhhhh!" 🤣
There was a old sitcom about a diner called Alice. One of the waitresses was named Flo.
28:40 not the jimmy saville reference help 😭😭😭
Those newspaper boxes used to be basically on every street corner, coin operated and sort of an honor system, you were "supposed" to only take one.
My mom took my older brother and I to a theater to see this movie, and we laughed ourselves silly throughout the film.
One of my favourite films of all time..holds memories
Just saying, I have many UK friends here in the great white north - tho it gets -20C, they prefer the weather, because it's a dry cold (not bone chilling) plus winter in just a unique experience
13:35 literally eating spicy food as I’m watching this 😂
The town is that way was adlibed by Carey. They were supposed to get on the bus in the script.
That’s Jim carreys real chip tooth. He just took his cap off for the movie
Seb- “I hate long car rides anything past 40min” me who just drove 15 hours from Colorado last week 😂
You gotta react to the prequel “Dumb and Dumberer: when Harry met Lloyd”
fun fact at 16:42 this wasnt in the script and those two drinking soda were just two random guys that were not with the studio.
Jim Carrey refused to shoot an alternate ending of Harry and Lloyd getting on the bus with the Hawaiian Tropic girls.
The next Jim Carrey movie you watch should be The Mask
32:00 that face 😂😂😂😂
Two great movies I haven’t seen any reaction channels watch are The Heartbreak Kid with Ben Stiller and My Best Friends Girl with Dane Cook.
Took me a minute for the birthday reference but I forgot UK does day first not month what a crazy catch 😂
7:14 comment 7:04 Flo,, is a inside joke by a T. V. (television) series character at a greasy spoon--a restaurant--diner, called Mel's Diner....it's the short version of the character (long term waitress) Florence Jean Castleberry-- the iconic stereotypical side-of-the-road Diner...the name of the show is Alice....like 1978ish.-Ernie Moore Jr.
Also yeah, I Never expected to like this movie but it was so funny 😊
If you'd like something comedic yet full of action, I'd recommend the movie(s) Rush Hour 1-3 starting Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker.
"that john denver is full of shit man"😂
If i had three days left to live and i could choose between checking off my bucket list or seeing Seb react to Surfs up. Id choose the ladder.🙏🗣
Seabass was played by Cam Neeley. One of the greatest Boston Bruins ever.
I always loved the "rapist wit" line😅
Like, he's somehow familiar with the saying, but can't remember rapier wit😅
HOW could you have missed out on this masterpiece?! 😆
Seb!!! Watch Dude where’s my car. It’s dumb but it’s so dumb that it’s funny I think you’d enjoy it!
27:28 Ain't no way Seb just said that about a blind kid lmao
That’s crazy
You're telling me you're such a big jim carry that you noticed the flight number was his birthday?
