Yes - Ucluelet is a very beautiful place. It seems to get eclipsed by Tofino but it has many great hikes - one of which is the "Lighthouse Loop." It is part of the Wild West Coast Trail, I’m standing on the trail taking the video. So, when you are on the Island take the time to come to the west coast - you won't regret it!
softworksca Thanks for the tip. I live in Ottawa and have only been to B.C. twice. Both times I was in Nanaimo and lake Cowichan. Very beautiful but I'm thinking the west coast is where the magic is.
Great scene! Next time keep the camera looking at one scene for a period of time so we can get in to it, then do sweeping pans, and maybe stop for a while at another view. Don't stop on the trees and non relevant things when you are showing huge waves, and sweeping around all the time is annoying. Beautiful anyway.
Peter Karig thanks for the tips and thanks for taking the time to watch. Nothing compares to standing there watching the waves come in but I hope even in spite of my inexperience at making videos my video does convey the sheer magnitude of the storm.
Thank you for posting! Awesome.
I'm glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching.
Great Video!
Great video. I'm planning on visiting the island hopefully soon. I heard Ucluelet is beautiful.

Great footage - thanks for posting! Consider a tripod for even greater results....
MrThunder - thanks for watching and you are right. I kick myself, we forgot our camera and equipment so the videos are taken with my cell phone.
