Good Work Eternal Purpose | The Hard Work

What do we do when the good work doesn’t seem good? When work gets hard, we feel
like something isn’t right, and to be fair, we are right. As a result of the fall, work became imperfect
because it became something we tried to use to get our way and fulfill our own desires. We see in the life of Nehemiah that the work of building the wall was filled with difficulty and criticism, but through the construction of the wall, He remained faithful to what God had called Him to do.
We all have a calling, and in our culture, we believe that we should experience the fruit of that calling immediately, perfectly, and easily, but nowhere in the Bible do we see those things promised. We do see that Jesus did the ultimate work on the cross that made us right with God again so we could return to the original intention of work to be co-creators with God!
