If anyone is still struggling with barre chords a little way to help with F#m is just have your First finger on the second fret 6th sting and you Middle and Ring fingers on the second frets of the 3rd and 4th stings
Heyy I just found your channel a few days ago and it's so amazing how you break down everything! Few things that helped me are: 1) playing along with the play through at 0.5 X speed to get used to transitions 2) playing the b major chord also simplified like the f#m, it gives the same sound and also is easier to transition with Hope this helps someone!

Anyone having difficulty with barre chords, if your strings sound muted, move your index finger closer to the fret, and use your thumb on the back of the neck to help press harder. I found that helped me, but of course if I can cheat and not barre the chord, then of course I do that instead! 😂
Those with problems with playing barre chords: 1: take lighter strings (010-047) 2: lower the action of your guitar at the nut (best thing I've ever done to my guitar, which I recommend to not do yourself) 3: practice them while watching tv or something and glue the shape of your finger positioning in your mind
Hey if you find it hard to do bare chords you can get plastic strings that are a lot easier to use and press on without hurting your fingers or having to press really hard, Hope this helps!

X = Close/inactive. Basically you don't use those strings when plucking or strumming. O = Open strings. They're the active ones, the ones you pluck and strum.
With chord progression that you’ve put below.. is it that all the way through in that order with x4 barring the G and A x2 in those specific sections and then obviously with the A* & B* are different. Just wanting to clarify. I’m confused between this and parts of the video. If this makes sense..

I completely understand not being motivated sometimes but once the inspiration hits you, you’ll have a song ready to learn! 😉 You can get away with not barring your Bm if you do the picking pattern for this song so no worries there either! And I would recommend lighter gauge strings for smaller hands like .010-.047 and my favorite brand is d’addario! 👍🏼
I’m completely new to guitar and i’m curious is it easier to press down the string on certain guitars? cuz everytime i try to play i just can’t continuously press the strings down hard enough or stretch my fingers
