Didn’t hear you note that tarantulas are from order mygalomorphae (primitive spiders), they typically use webs for lining burrows but not for hunting like araneomorphae, which the spiders seen at the beginning from Australia are from. It’s a whole thing and I can’t be bothered going into it but it’s really interesting
8:00 dingoes are not like dogs. I had them in the bush land that backed onto my land. They can climb, like full climb trees. Keeping them out of the chicken coupe was a pain. Lost a few dogs to them too. Thought we lost the staffy pit bull to them once. But we found him in one of the salt water croc traps set in the river. Anyway yea they look like nice dogs, they think like wild dogs but climb like cats.

And that the Black Caiman therefore is not only the largest species within alligatoridae family but also one of the largest species in the neotropical realm. In conclusion. I'd use the Black Caiman for the comparisons.
I don't think breeding the two kinds of foxes in captivity, would do much harm. However in the wild, the purity of the bloodline decreasing means that we would start to see some hybrids, but after a while the two origanal species will dissapear an leave us with one where there once was two, this also means that the two origanal species are technically extinct

It's good to note that most foxes in South America are not true foxes. Also, some caiman do actively hunt river dolphin. So river dolphins would have a natural affinity for being wary or cautious around crocodilians.

Caiman are often perceived as the punching bags of the Amazon. But black caiman are the apex Predator. Large jaguars will avoid areas where they suspect they live and even the largest anacondas are prey.
You assume that after the continents collide again, the climate of South America will remain the same as it is today. Is this really a valid assumption? Also, Australia is on the west side of South America. The animals would have a hard time crossing the Andes mountains to get to the Amazon.

The vegetation and resulting climate would change rapidly as plants compete for resources. It might not be as dramatic or exciting but it would impact the animals living there in a big way.

I went to basic training near the south-east coast but was born and raised in the south-west of the US. My body was not accustomed to the bacteria that folks there grew immunity for. Saltwater crocs in the Amazon would definitely be a disaster! Also, the part about the first guy to catch a taipan and died from the bite is not completely accurate. He did die from a taipan bite, but it was a _coastal taipan_ , which is "only" the fifth most venomous snake in the world (iirc). It's the _inland taipan_ that is the most venomous snake in the world, and there's no recorded deaths from an inland taipan bite. It's also much debated whether the inland taipan venom actually is the most deadly snake venom in humans (since it obviously can't be tested). It's undisputedly the most deadly snake venom in rats tho.

You forget the tale of the tape. There's reason why marsupials only exist in Australia (Americas has one, that's it). Marsupials were outcompeted by Placentals everywhere. They only survive in Australia because it's quite remote from any other continents (save the Antartica).

Yea black caimans are 16 to 20 feet long so it would be a great challenge to crocs
There are Orinoco's crocodile, they're as big as Australian crocodiles in size but they like fishes over mammals.
