Trudelies Leonhardt, on an original Pianoforte by Aloys Moser (Fribourg, about 1796), plays Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s Fantasy in d minor K. 397 (385g).
The magnificent original Aloys Moser instrument (1796) is the property of the Department of Musicology of the University of Fribourg - Switzerland. This recording was made at the Museum of Art and History of Fribourg.

I‘m speechless! Absolutely perfect in feeling and expressing the phrases. There’s nothing to deny! While listening to the piece and letting sink in the interpretation a well done hint of personality shows the dialogue she conducts with the creator of this wonderful music. And what a clear speaking and nice pronouncing Instrument! It seems as Mozart is looking down from Heaven, sends his Spirit into her mind and spends his voice to the instrument! Go on!

She is wonderful! Who does it like this nowadays? Pianists don´t play Mozart but themselves. Trudelies understand that language of phrases, small articulations and exclamations. And she has her own virtuosity in it. Fantastic. I can hear her playing for hours. Could not say the same from Yuja Wang athletic piano for olympics.
