Okay, unironically this time I actually kind of agree. No replay on master duel should have realistically been that enjoyable. This is my favorite match i've ever seen on the game so far

"listen I'm gonna just banish everything I can so your dude hits me in one shot, just end whatever we've created"
and then he fucking surrendered.
They were attempting to activate the banish effects of enough Necrofaces (up to 6) such that the metaphys player would deck out and lose on draw phase, unfortunately the 15 banishes whiffed on both ends

They wanted to banish the entire deck to win by deckout, but if you look closely, you will notice that it wasn't enough

Imagine if this wasn't in Master Duel but was IRL. Imagine the amount of shuffling, counting, banishing, un-banishing, and especially the "hang ons".
Of course it would be Life Point Gain (banish) Mill that finds its way to a matchup against Metaphys.
This is the kind of setup only a matchmaking algorithm has the guts to engineer.

Just to quickly explain Ledger to those who don't know (since I actually read it while watching this) it basically is a gold sarcophagus but you get to send 2 more cards and it takes one more turn. THAT is what the timer is for. To add the 3 chosen cards banished.

The level of expectation I have been put up to is horrifying, please help me God.
I played against an annoying deck as well, because he activated a card that had all special summoned cards to the field give him life points based on the attack of my monsters summoned.... I am a pendulum summoner.... by the time I was done with my combos, he had almost 30k life-points. That shit was annoying.... but I still won on my next turn. I summoned out 3 staving venoms with Lyrilusc. The starving venoms ability alone did 12k damage, then their attacks were raised to 6.8k each. He kept using a monster effect that had him take no damage from battle and re-summon on the field when destroyed, but I eventually pushed through it all. After attacking and using the effect of my starving venoms 5 times, it slowly but surely chunked his life points down to 0.
you know its a good replay when it gets the video to itself
