- Depression can strike at the moments that we least expect it, even for Christians. Paul had already attempted suicide 6 times by his mid-20s. Despite a having ticked all the boxes of a “good Christian”, he attempted suicide and 7th time and succeeded. Miraculously, he was revived, but it was clear that God wasn’t done with Paul. His physical revival was just the beginning. There is always hope for those who suffer from depression - hope in Jesus.

Truly having depression is difficult.this is the way i felt today.i hope you can pray for me too.
I had experienced depression last 2016 . Prayer, meditating God's word, Christian Community, and Counseling is really crucial. Early months of 2017 I got healed from depression. Thanks be to God. May God heal you also. Proverbs 3:5-6

I had depression when my father died and when i found out my mother suspected CA. One day i just woke up dizzy and cant stand. All signs of depression sinking me for 4 months. But when i surrendered all to God through the help of Ccf pastor in satellite cavite. He helped me to see the light in resurrection.

Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful testimony, brother. As someone who have contemplated about taking my own life, this hit me hard but by the grace of God, he healed me, not only the scars on my wrist, but my heart as well and He offered me thia joy and peace that only can be found in Christ. Wonderful. Only 4 days ago, I learned a much loved friend had taken his life recently through depression. Those who knew and loved him are in mourning. One wrote to us of when she settles to sleep. THE LORD IS HERE. SOMETIMES IT IS ONLY A DIM SLIVER OF LIGHT PEEKING AT MY SOUL. SOMETIMES IT IS MORE LIKE A BEAMING, BRILLIANT FULL MOON. BUT IT IS ALWAYS HIS HOPE THAT LIES WITH ME........AND YOU............IN THE DARK. PEACE TO YOU.

Thank you for sharing your story. I am going through the same battle as yours, right now and I feel stuck and helpless. As a 'christian', I thought, it'll be ungrateful of me if I complain being depressed despite having good family, good church, good friends and other 'goods' in my life. I tried to commit suicide a lot of times and these days I feel being on the edge again. Your life gave me the hope I needed right now. Thank you
