Hell, even Rito admitted it when they said that rework taught them that making something that was designed to appeal to more people but sacrifices the old playstyle entirely was something they learned not to do from the Aatrox rework where pretty much every main dropped him.

@@tortellium3750 yone's banrate is sure high but not as high as zed's for example. and we sure know that zed is actually better champion even with high banrate and low playrate like yone. It doesn't really matter how often somebody bans champion because we know how strong it is. Yone's problem is that in low elo he is op because nobody knows how to counter play him still. Check how yone's playrate AND banrate getting down for each higher division.

Really well done "porting" of the old aatrox. The old model looked really good tbh. I think what I miss the most, is the old nasus model and voiceover, which in theory should perfectly convert to the current nasus too. Please do Sion next!
It was quite easy to rework him with an auto attack mechanic. Him getting a similar kit or inspired from Legion Commander from Dota/Dota2 or from Kane & Maliken Grim from Heroes of Newerth. Or a combination of some of their abilities. Don’t understand how they could fuck that up. They could incorporate Aatrox having damage reduction from the Champion he’s attacking or every time he attacks(gains 50% reduction from the one Aatrox auto attacks while 30% from the ones around him, stacks multiplicatively with Death’s Dance), at the same time gaining permanent bonus AD per kill(Yes it is infinite stacking, Say 10 AD per takedown or 1 AD per creep) plus the ability to throw his sword and blink to its next location to apply CC(Taunt, fear or knock up, although taunt fits more.)and of course, toggling his sword with having extra damage or extra lifesteal but his sword toggle is not a 3 hit passive. Instead, effects apply each auto attack. And per health missing, he gains extra attack damage and attack speed with a chance to counter attack(much like counter Helix from Axe from Dota, procs with creeps) with either enhanced damaged or lifesteal per attack depending if it’s blood price or blood sword. And of course, the iconic Blood Well, but Aatrox can also walk while reviving.
As a sion Player I can feel the utter frustration in the other guy after not only getting a perfectly set up Q interrupted but then missing his close quarters R.
Riven 2.0, Sona 2.0, Yasuo 2.0, and being honest here, Zeri feels much like a Jinx 2.0. I predict that the next jungler will be a 2.0 versin of an already existing champ.
