Note that repulsor blast is a single instance of damage, not 1 and then however many energy resource cards you discard. This is because it has an alteration effect ("additional") This is important if say the enemy you attacked had a tough status card for example.
Unfortunately you have to fully resolve forcefield generator which means it has to prevent as much damage as it could. Then after it's discarded you could use your energy barriers. Also because it's a forced interrupt, you must resolve it even if you have an energy barrier in play or even if you wish to just take the damage.
I just noticed that at around 14:50, after you resolved Absorbing Man's attack against you, you never dealt or resolved any encounter cards! Also, it looks like at around 19:29, you remove 2 counters from a single Energy Barrier to prevent 2 damage at once. Interrupt and Response abilities only trigger once each time their condition is met, so you can only use 1 counter per Energy Barrier each time you take damage.
Thank you for the critique. Completely missed that encounter card didn't even notice 😩. I'm trying to understand my energy barrier misplay. Example: If I get hit for 3 I can only remove 1 counter from barrier to remove 1 instance of damage not all 3? is that what you are saying??? Thank you for taking the time to watch my video and comment.
@ Right! The ability on Energy Barrier (the one where you can remove 1 counter to prevent 1 damage and deal 1 damage to an enemy) is an interrupt, and you can use responses and interrupts only once each time their condition is met. For Energy Barrier, its condition is “when you take damage,” so you can only use 1 counter per Energy Barrier each time you take damage, no matter how much damage you take. Compare this with Forcefield Generator, which says “when you take damage, remove that many energy counters from here” so that means you remove as many as you can up to the amount of damage you took.

Loving the look and the playthroughs on this channel!!:)
Repurpose Iron Man goes crazy! (Love your intro btw)
Iron man, Repurpose is so good! Thank you! I've been looking into animations to step it up one notch. But I'm a fan of it, too.
Loving your videos!
Glad you like them!

Copy that! I'm glad to have you around. I'll keep this in mind.

Ok, I understand it now. Thanks a ton!
