That’s the happiest dude I’ve ever seen in a crawl space. Seriously, thanks for the video, you’ve inspired my confidence. Makes my basement swap out look even easier. Good day sir!
Thanks! Never realized how easy the process was
Chuck YOU are Awesome!! Thanks for making this easy for me and please know we appreciate you and this Video. Your kind smile helped make what I thought would be difficult, so much easier.
The happy Bob Ross of drainage, but for real though it makes things easier when people teach it like this.
That was great!!, I'm 62 yr.old girl & didn't want to cut and glue PCV pipe for new 3/4 Horse Wayne sub pump, hope I can do clamps with hand tools, I fixed my furnace by heating stuck gas valve, felt like Fonze on Happy Days, THX for this video!!

Super helpful. Thanks 👍
What a rad dude! Thanks for the upload!
Merci from Québec!! :)
Another great video. A nice Zoller Mighty Mate would have looked good in that pit. But home owner's house and choice I guess. Thanks for sharing Your experience with Us.
Fear of water brought me here. I’m a new home owner and it’s been 6 months and I never knew I could have such a hatred for water. I’ve had my roof fail and all my insulation get wet and have to get ripped out and get a new roof. Then my basement has water problems every time it rains. Then I find my side yard is the culprit and it needs a drainage system, and my damn gutter is clogged and I can’t fix it because it’s raining. The sump pump is going off every minute for 2 days. Tomorrow, I’m running out to get a backup just in case. Sheesh. I really need some good luck for a change.
I feel you, keep in mind it was an El Nino year. Very wet
@@DaDaDo661 Things have gotten much better since when I made this comment. I fixed the problems. Knock on wood. 😆
Your always happy I love it
Super helpful! Thank you!
Thank you!
Thanks! I just got a ridiculously high quote from a plumber and decided to try it myself. Hopefully I won’t drown or get electrocuted.
This guy is the best
God bless you man.
Great video man. Thanks.
Wow thank you so much God-bless you
Thanks much.
Thank you Sit
What is that little valve on top directly next to where the tether is clipped on. When my Everbilt brings the water level low, air is hissing from that small 1/2' dia black douunut looking thing. Thanks.
Awesome,Thanks
Does this PVC/plastico recipient protects the bomb from getting stuck due to the mud, in the water? Thanks.
Hey I think mine is going bad and my house is only 4 ỷears old. Does the sump you replace it with have to be the sắme brand? So you can just unscrew the pipe out the pump and insert it in the new one and tighten up the check valve ? You dont need to cut the pipe? I have 2 sump pumps in my basement but one is câusing the problem and carries water out but floater keeps getting stuck. Not sure if the other is for ẻmergencies or what by my furnace.
Why not replace check valve as well
Chuck. Your hoodie, cheeks and hair are the same color
I purchased a Wayne pump and check valve.
The check valve has threads on the bottom and screws directly into the pump. Is there any problem putting it that low on pump. I assume it would be ok as the manufacturer made it that way but don't see any vids with it like that?
Should be fine
@@appledrains Wow! Fast reply. Chucks the man! Advice to those attempting a French drain with no help. Get some! And Follow chucks advice. Especially if you're in the South. The using fabric debate was a big one for me. I have a lot of Alabama red clay in my yard. For now I'm just going to use more, larger rock 1"-3".
Got a 40k estimate for foundation damage last summer. Don't let it excess water go too long. Get a drain or sump pump put in.
I'm so glad I don't have that job!
Those tether floats are crap IMO
thats the filthiest spot for a sump pump ever i dont even know how they made it lol and the water looks like liquid barf. mines mostly clear thank god
Probably it needs to be pumped out every month by a hand pump!😮
@@mikhailshtabinsky9633 its like a castle moat lmao
Thank you!!
