If DICE is adding these 2nd variants to Level 10 guns, I can see them adding a 4th variant to other existing ones. Gewehr 98 Carbine, M1903 Infantry, and the B.A.R. Low weight would be my top 3 candidates of weapons to add
ZERO 313 There's no need for a low weight except a bipod. Storm is closest to a low weight. However trench and storm are not the same, trench variant weapons are better at hipfire, and storm better at aimed fire.
True but the whole sniper load out doest really make sense for the weapon, your not shooting at ranges where the bipod is extremely useful and once you get into its sweet spot range and aim its not like your far enough away to be safe from medics or support, the marksman sight/ lens sight just seems like a better option
IF you like the MH and play with it regularly, then you'll love this variant. Go the 5x scope. You need to improve the pistol game though. IT's great for stalking other snipers. The satisfaction from a healthy single game KD and score from this gun is the lure. Getting 300m head-shots with this is a buzz. Set up 300m from a flag and start popping domes. The arc and travel time of the brick is hilarious.
Thomas Leahy It's a game mechanic that automatically has you aiming at your target the second you look down your sights. It assists your aim, hence the term "aim assist".
BananaSKINZ there are 2 aim assist options, auto rotation and slowdown. Auto rotation is cheap and that's why people use infantry versions, I have that off.
I used to hate this gun and the sniper class, but I started playing as one, because it gives me bigger immersion of WW 1. Cheezing, runnning and gunning with automaticos and support guns are not entertaining for me (maybe I am getting old). When I shoot with Martini-Henry the sound of it really makes me think I am on the battlefield and every shot of mine counts. Plus even if I get killed I don't get mad, cuz the bolt-action rifles and the self-loading rifles are making the experience more realistic for me. Too bad that the hardcore and the back to basics servers are always empty. I would literally sleep there, cuz WW 1 was fought with those rifles not with gaytomaticoes and shotguns.
innerFire great comment dude. The only machine guns that where used to my knowledge were the Lewis gun, the mp 18, and the MG 15 although the MG 15 was mostly a stationary weapon
If you want to use a sniper and challenge yourself pick this up it made a 445 m headshot with this the other day. The shot looks more like a mortar than a bullet due to how slow it is. Bullet to target time was around 2 and half sec.
It's been over half a decade and I'm still not over this lol. I've had such a good time with this weapon that it ended up being my favorite gun ever in my favorite shooter by *far*. I'm as much a fan of this genre as any, generally consider myself average to below average when it comes to these types of games, but man...the first time I noticed I was on a roll with the scout class was the only time I ever felt so effective and badass haha There's just something about leading your shots and landing them that makes it so damn satisfying. The day it got nerfed was when I started to give up on the game entirely lol. It just wasn't the same anymore 💀
theres a reason why i only use the infantry variant and thats because its way easier to abuse its sweetspot. if you make use of your snipers/rifles sweetspot your gonna shred everyone. using a rifle without a sweetspot means only using small amounts of that guns potential at maxinum.
KriticalKris JP from the New York-Philadelphia Northeast United States with my people standing after the greater Manchester bombing by hearing it on British news sources like Channel 4 and BBC #WeStandTogether game Wise it's the black powder version of the Lebel 1886 first smokless powder rifle ( in Battlefield 1 this is known to me as the Sinai Desert killer)
The infantry is better, the sniper doesn't make sense on the Martini because of the weapons sweet spot and not to mention the bullet drop and other factors.
Hi , plz confirm me, how to unlock Scope for Martini Henry Sniper? I have Kill 320 with Martini and 50 Kill with Bayonet Charge. It shud unlock Scope now but still not unlock. Can u guide me reason? Mine is Premium acc also.
They used the sniper variant because if it was a marksman variant it'd be OP. Take it to 5x zoom and then it's better at those mid range engagements. Still like the infantry better.
??? in literally every variation of "Sniper" in this game have a scope and bipod with no stat change. The marksman has a lower power scope without a bipod.
You should do a weapon guide on the Kolibri
If it was a marksman version would be pretty neat
Have you tried the lowest zoom setting?
@@fishsmell2570 Thats not the point, the lowest sniper optical power still is too much. Marksman optical power options would've made more sense.
If DICE is adding these 2nd variants to Level 10 guns, I can see them adding a 4th variant to other existing ones. Gewehr 98 Carbine, M1903 Infantry, and the B.A.R. Low weight would be my top 3 candidates of weapons to add
Paladin Colt It would be called the Kar98AZ for the G98, with a sweet spot 40 m lower than the normal 98
Exactly. I love that gun in Verdun and would love to have it as the Gewehr 98 Carbine/Trench variant
why the hell would you need a low weight when you have the storm and trench which are the same things
ZERO 313 Bipod without telescopic sight?
ZERO 313 There's no need for a low weight except a bipod. Storm is closest to a low weight. However trench and storm are not the same, trench variant weapons are better at hipfire, and storm better at aimed fire.
honestly they should have put the lens sight that lee enfield carbine has onto the henry, it would have made more sense
Nicholas Stavinoha i think It would be op(and made the infantry pointless)
Still it would be more useful that a scope with the garbage glint
Nicholas Stavinoha more useful but less balanced. Gotta have a compromise between them
True but the whole sniper load out doest really make sense for the weapon, your not shooting at ranges where the bipod is extremely useful and once you get into its sweet spot range and aim its not like your far enough away to be safe from medics or support, the marksman sight/ lens sight just seems like a better option
DarkInfernape65 not really it's down to preference, for example I prefer the smle infantry over the carbine variant.
I honestly thought a marksman variant would be better, considering it's a close/midrange rifle. I guess the developers wanted to troll us.
MrKBD I think they made it a sniper because a marksman variant would be op
normie
And now nobody uses it
Shuichi Saihara use 5x zoom, just a step higher than the max zoom of the marksman scopes
mekbd, might be martini henry’s own smokeless black powder or the cartridge, i don’t know it’s era
I love this weapon guide series..keep it up mate
I love this thing with the magnification set at 5x
IF you like the MH and play with it regularly, then you'll love this variant. Go the 5x scope. You need to improve the pistol game though. IT's great for stalking other snipers. it also has no "aim assist" which is imho a huge deal, the infantry version does. (on consoles)
What's aim assist
Thomas Leahy It's a game mechanic that automatically has you aiming at your target the second you look down your sights. It assists your aim, hence the term "aim assist".
I wouldn't say that it 'automatically' aims (like an aimbot) more like a slight drift towards the enemy to assist
BananaSKINZ there are 2 aim assist options, auto rotation and slowdown. Auto rotation is cheap and that's why people use infantry versions, I have that off.
BananaSKINZ come on bro be real it locks the fuck on people

Anders Engebretson the automatico was also widely used, alongside the madsen, the chauchat, the benet-merce and many others automatic guns
Ø ok, learn something new everyday.
if you want a realistic experience you should play Verdun, it's a good game
Actually shotguns were used by American troops during the meuse-argone offencesive, the Germans actually wanted the weaponry banned
You actually make this gun look good haha! its a terrible variant so good job with the gameplay (extra credit for using it on a console)
TheHeadshotKing it's really good if you use it right.
It's actually alot easier to use on console with aim assist
Anthony DeLuca There is no aim assist on sniper variants and marksmen variants.
I wanted a Martini Trench variant instead, but the Martini Sniper is fun to humiliate campers at extreme ranges (over 200 meters) with.
as a xbox player, stfu
can you do a comparison video or specifie what weapons you use in game after testing with all these reviews?
I was just thinking about how I want him to do the martini and then I looked at the channel and the new video is the martini! :)
Well done bro very good videos

♥ Manchester 🐝 #WeStandTogether

TheAirskyair calm down there kiddo......
i love the martini sniper its so much fun to use especially when you get a headshot 200+meters out
Gabriel Najerra Except the 1 hit headshot eventually stops after that. I reckon all of the snipers should 1 hit headshot regardless of distance..
2:36 that’s a nice edit
The infantry is better, the sniper doesn't make sense on the Martini because of the weapons sweet spot and not to mention the bullet drop and other factors.
Eric Gil the bullet drop is pretty extreme. i never realised how bad it was until i got this new variant
karma bad Yeah dude, you actually have to lead your shots with it.
Eric Gil Should have been a Marksman variant.
Latrell Spencer
That's why im using the russian 1895
Hi , plz confirm me, how to unlock Scope for Martini Henry Sniper? I have Kill 320 with Martini and 50 Kill with Bayonet Charge. It shud unlock Scope now but still not unlock. Can u guide me reason? Mine is Premium acc also.
Im waiting for this kritikal kris thank you
can you review the tanker/pilot weapons?
They used the sniper variant because if it was a marksman variant it'd be OP. Take it to 5x zoom and then it's better at those mid range engagements. Still like the infantry better.
Sniper has 5x zoom while marksmans max is 4x.
justin blank
And sniper has the scope glint
Only thing that is the martini is the sound
I like that scope better than any other scope so that's why it is better for me
Really disappointed they didn't simply add a marksmen variant so you could use the gun at slightly longer ranges without the scope glare.
KiLLKiNDLY true. as a rule i generally avoid any wep with glare.
I found it's best to use the 6x scope on this gun
Now they need to add a 1903 Infantry.....
Not the best sniper variant, but oh boy is it satisfying when you get a long range kill with it
✋👌
It pisses me off a bit that even though I ALREADY have the requirements for getting this, I need to get ANOTHER 300 kills :/
I like the m1903 sniper for long range sniper maps
plz can anyone tell me how to unlock scope for martini henry.
UPCOMING THINGS. rewatch the vid
Are you joking me
I use this gun with no scope and it's a damn tank. And soooo satisfying a kill
Yeah those challenges were HARD especially getting 300 kills with the martini. It took me 3 months to complete it.
Negotiator007 the bayonet wasn't to hard for me. But the 300 kills takes forever
300 kills took me 6-9 hours
Carbine for this would have been sick
This is a FUN gun to use, however, I'll stick with my SMLE if I'm aiming for effectiveness.
How long did it take you guys to earn it? It took me around 1 day to get it starting a 4 bayonet charges and 19 kills with the MH
I love this Sniper Rifle😍
I cant get the 300 kills it's impossible for me..
such a nice gun
So really if you hate iron sights boom sniper is great
Do the kolibri next!
What magnification do you recommend?
Dog Lover I use the lowest one.
pistol you were using?
Notorious 23 Frommer stop
the martini henry sniper is a god
رائع..ممتاز..جميل..أنت موبدع..🌹🙌😎
300 kills are too much. Should have been 100
"Don't expect to be an amazing sniper rifle. Cause it's not." Lmao
I prefere the infantry version
I really like this gun. Does that make me a hipster?
Should’ve been a carbine variant
Are you going to review the weapons from the upcoming russia dlc?
Yep
The martini would be better off as a marksman variant than than a sniper rifle.
Jesse Simmons I agree. Got 100 kills with this, put it down. Then a month ago I picked it up and sucked with it. A 3.00x zoom would be perfect
Redundant variant, if they'd given a carbine or marksman variant, it woulda been better :/
A marksmen version would be much better
I call this the Mando Rifle
Says Martini Sniper sucks.....as he utterly dominates with it. lol
whats the use of calling it a sniper when it has the same damage drop an infantry, should just call it marksman . "dice logic"
??? in literally every variation of "Sniper" in this game have a scope and bipod with no stat change. The marksman has a lower power scope without a bipod.
justin blank To be fair none of the scout weapons in the game are built as sniper rifles
Took me 6 years lol
İts nerfed
#Manchester
#Egypt
#WeStandTogether
#fuckisis
You sound like Thoughty2 lol
the martini looks ugly with that bipod and it's useless aswell. maybe the should remove the bipod.
George Eleftheriou
Yeah marksman would be better
