    For all who are looking for latest firmware for CF-WR302S you can download it from:
    en.comfast.com.cn/download/FirmwareUpgrade/
    Just search for "CF-WR302S". Also keep in mind that CF-WR302SV2_x.x.x firmware is dedicated to CF-WR302S V2 devices, which is not compatible with CF-WR302S, do please do not make mistake.
    Actually latest one for CF-WR302S is v2.0.1 dated 2017-07-12 [Build Time Tue, 27 Jun 2017 17:52:33 +0800] (it is newer than 2.0.0.1)

      Thanks! That new firmware seems to have improved the performance of my CF-WR302S. The TV connects a lot faster now. The little pi 3 is now playing TH-cam videos in 720p & full-screen without stalling every 10 seconds.
      It's in Repeater mode now (repeater cuts speed abt 50%), so it's not going be super fast (my fios is 25 20).
      I plan to run Ethernet into the weak-wifi area/TV den, so I will switch the Repeater into AP mode, and get some really good speed..

    I'm having a problem with a repeater like this. It was working normal until suddenly it stopped working, now its status is always "scanning" and never "conected" so the wifi network connects but the internet does not work. Can you help me?

    guys, i think that, most probably i could help you..... The device is purely Two router configuration. One side to manage client and other to manage host. In middle of this, there is a processor which switches packets between them. I think it is due to overload to processor( if else everything is clear). You can fix this by using same or duplicating encryption of main router OR by not using encryption. Then try again, how it works. (Although the repeater is not good in its software configuration: you can afford it as it is cheap)

    Lots of issues, I have emailed their tech support - hopefully will get a response or will need to send it back. Don't understand the lots of good reviews on Amazon!

    Had the same issue. Contacted them via their eBay store and they sent me a new firmware. CF-WR302S-V2.0.0.1a.
    Problem solved.

    Can any1 help me? When i try to set this up it and connect it to my wif it does not gives me an option to enter my wifi password so i cant connect my wifi to it. I dont know how is this happening.

      The PASSWORD option is at the very BOTTOM of the page, you just scroll to the very bottom of the wi-fi lists and you can see the change password there.

    I bought the Comfast WI-FI extender model: CF-WR302S and set the product by Scan QR.I have a problem though and I would be very grateful if you could help me.
    When I try to connect to the WI-FI: LTE_Wlan-plus it requires a password. What is the correct password?Thank you very much.

    anyone knows what to do, if there is no set Password on the Website while my first Login? there is just a "Login" button, no "set Password".

    System->Security Mode Setting-> Disable Security Mode->Apply (Repeater mode, when Ip-adresses gives router, and not pin code). Repeater "transparent".

    I had same issue with Comfast repeater CF-WR300N.
    Try to solve the issue as follows:
    1. Connect repeater with network cable to computer.
    2. Set a static ip to the repeater.
    Thats it. The repeater should work as expexted with strong wifi signal.

    The PASSWORD you put on the wi-fi repeater is too long and some of the characters on that password is not compatible with your phone. Try a simple password on your wi-fi, and your phone can connect easily. Happened to me before with my iPhone.

    The solution is to set the correct time zone, not the China that comes as default.
