We never do "decompression" on such small boost levels. The response is very nice, and with propper timing , there is no difference if you do decompression with more timing or lower timimng with higher CR. The result is basicly same power stressing the rods, pistions, headbolts etc. The E85 is not avialable at this time in our Country. I dont forget, one of the goals is finding limits, and have fun. Just think ybout the fun, having basicly double the horsepower and torq on 20year old engine, without any mod.... crazy, and i love it.
@@karelboura940 there is a difference cause 1cr less in compression is like activly one bar boost more making turbo. So the engine running 1.2 bar is more safe then running 0.7 cause such 0.7 on stock cr is like 1.7. Ofcourse response etc is better on stock cr but yeah, you have to go with timing quite low to not knock the engine hell out 🙂 and this is not only knock-thing but also stock head studs and gasket related. On stock m54 block (weaker pistons) and 98 something like 300ish sounds safe. At least from our Polish experiance 🙂 but as I sad,wish you the best as I have an m54t too. Maybe you will open a new chapter and show something new
@@FaworDrifts the pressure in combustion chamber is the limit, and the final presure is function of intake presure, Compression ratio and presure build by igntion of mixture. There is no difference in force if you achieve the same pressure. Yes the stock pistons, connection rods or headbolts or anything else can fail (on 20year old stock engine) .... but tell me, how many engines can even achieve 200% of original power without an mods? I am still impressed. And the ratios are not adding, they are multiplying.

Ofcourse this is quite impressive, b25 and b30s after few simple mods are like a lot cheaper versions of 1j and 2j. In love with m5x turbo too
