Been in the USA most of my life. Living the Mexican Dream is so much more enriching than anything i ever had in the States. It's the cultural vibrancy, connectedness to history and the world, the colors that paint the environment, quality of everyday food, dancing in the parks, and general love of life that one cannot find in the US. You make more money in the US. Other than that, I cannot understand why someone would willingly not choose to move themselves and their family to Mexico. Despite its size and pollution, it's so easy to greet the day with a smile in CDMX, truly the world's greatest city.
Not everyone can hold an American job while living in another country, nor can they afford to live on a Mexican salary (hence why many Mexicans immigrate to America). Many Americans do not speak another language besides English. Most people don’t want to leave behind their entire social support network (friends & family) who won’t be willing to uproot their lives for “cultural vibrancy”. Many people have kids of all ages who would strongly resent being forced to abandon all familiarity and cut their social ties, while becoming an outsider in foreign schools, all so they can see Mexican folk “dance in the park”. That enough reasons? Existence isn’t nearly as simple as you seem to perceive it.

I'm mexican from Tijuana, south of the border of San Diego so I know all about what you are talking about the cost of living. In La Condesa is the most expensive places to live in Mexico City for native mexicans. That's why is common to see a lot of your fellow americans living there.
In my city Monterrey I have seen many migrate from other states of Mexico because it is the city where companies pay more, for example in 7eleven you earn about 88 USD and in Monterrey 7eleven pays 150 USD per week, in turn this helps because they send money to their families in their state and it does not affect anyone because in fact there are so many vacancies in all sectors from working in construction to being a director of large companies like Walmart but I have also seen Mexicans returning from the United States to Mexico, Argentines, Colombians, gringos, Spaniards and in smaller numbers Germans and Japanese, I am not used to seeing so many foreigners

There is absolutely no way that you can live "like a king" in Condesa with a $1500 budget, come on, man! Also, there are areas in Mexico City that are way more expensive than in the US. For example, living in Las Lomas or Polanco can be more expensive than living in The Woodlands, TX - an incredibly beautiful place to live. I lived in San Francisco, CA for several years, and that place is way more expensive, but you can't live like a king in places like Condesa. The thing is that foreigners think that the only nice areas in México City FOR THEM to live are la Condesa, Roma, Polanco, Anzures, etc. (Thats why the gentrification) There are many other nice area to live and not as expensive as the ones mentioned, and also there are many nicer áreas more secluded where most of them couldn't pay to live in. I live in Mexico City love not being around people from the US. Avoid centro and the above areas and you never see them
No creo!! Why not!

The biggest issue for me was always cleanliness. You have to be careful about what you eat and where. I brought a group of cousins here and every male got sick with a stomach bug. You can get a good antibiotic at a local pharmacy.
It's not because the food is dirty or bad, it's because of the change of food, your stomach is not used to it. The same thing happened to me when I was in London for two months.
Hello Nate, thanks for loving Mexico, I visited Chicago and Montana & Dakota in 2018 and it was beautiful, you and everybody can move to Mexico if desired. I don't care if Trump won, I know real americans don't hate Mexico. Is the vast majority. I wish the best !!!
Suggestion: Change that " Done with the US" title. It comes off as very disrespectful at first glance. Whenever you say you are " Done" with a place or person it means you want nothing to do with it.

Having lived in the USA for 45 years and my partner being a gringo and us living in Mexico now is beyond the cost of living, try living in downtown LA or in San Francisco and compare it to living in Mexico City and you will immediately feel the change of mood and energy, no crazy violent crack heads all over the streets and sidewalks, you probably would want to answer by saying that Mexico is violent because of cartels but mate , you have to look for trouble to even find them, so sorry to say but Anglo ( including Canadian) societies are in decline and you obviously look for a scapegoat to blame for your violence and drug problems, have a good day “ MATE” 😊
But where can you live in Mexico City where it's safe and affordable? It's different for you if you do online work.
My advice, don't live in Mexico City, go to Querétaro, it's beautiful, safe and affordable and it's only 3h away from Mexico City
@pablolimo8481 I considered Querétaro before. But the living cost there has gone up significantly. Are there certain neighborhoods you can recommend? It used to be much cheaper
@@luperamos7307 Well Idk your budget but I like El Mirador
Uh my prey that you don't get kidnapped by a cartel
Please... Don't.
Thank you .
honestly its not fair that we have to pay like more than 200s dollars just for a tourist visa to visit USA and you guys coming here for free, they making more crisis and because of you a lot of people have to move from their homes because of high cost living you're making Because of gentrification, we had to live by our rules when we visit USA but when you gringos are coming here to Mexico we even have to speak in your language and go by your rules, honestly you should come back to your country just like your Americans fellows tell my people all the time when they are coming to the USA
The visa last for ten 10 years, an the foreigners Visas to enter Mexico is nearly 40 dolara every time the enter , and to get a legally residency the requirement are high, when it comes to your income, in order to qualify
Todos a la Condesa! 🤦🏻♀️
U still in America
Living like a king with low income and complaining.
Hope you pay taxes here in MX
CDMX rocks. The air, not so much.
I agree 😂. Atleast there's alot of green trees to help filter out the pollution lol
No estás dejando América, estás dejando los estados unidos
This gentrification thing is hilarious except people belive it. Like 23 million people in Mexico City. Roma Norte Coyoacan Polanco and Condessa is where US people think they are pushing pricing people out. But why are they here? The expat got priced pushed out of California or wherever they came from. I live in Mexico City love not being around people from the US. Avoid centro and the above areas and you never see them
America is a dying country homeless people everywhere.
Ever worried you walking around df…with your phone out?
Stop being paranoid
Mexico ain’t that bad
Don’t believe me go visit a big city
Not everyone is a crook or drug trafficker
I’ll be going there for 3 months in January. I can’t wait it will be my first time there.
Espero que la pases bien!!
I have a couple gfs out there too
So u lef américa and still at américa México is part of that American continent! 😅😅😅
Gentryfication in México is a real problem now....
No creo!!
Why not!
Im a lil early 😂
Do you pay Mexican income tax? You probably should.
Nah you’re not in Mexico City otherwise the camera would be all orange
🧠n't ?
😂
The lack of folic acid is noticeable.
Mexico City is just as expensive as a US city.
No way!!!
There are areas than could be as expensive as US or even more expensive. But there are many others, cheaper and nice to live!!
mexican here, lived in mexico city for grad school. i get why ppl get angry at it. finding a decent apartment for the right price is impossible
but we dont think you guys are the problem. the problem is urban planning
Your video title is funny , Bye, bye America" but you are still in America continent!
Yo tambien
The biggest issue for me was always cleanliness. You have to be careful about what you eat and where. I brought a group of cousins here and every male got sick with a stomach bug. You can get a good antibiotic at a local pharmacy.
It's not because the food is dirty or bad, it's because of the change of food, your stomach is not used to it. The same thing happened to me when I was in London for two months.
How much alcohol drank too!!
You should also change your citizenship to Mexico.
No
He a passport bro, 🤣 period
Suggestion: Change that " Done with the US" title. It comes off as very disrespectful at first glance. Whenever you say you are " Done" with a place or person it means you want nothing to do with it.
he did
Bet he cannot! He still need work lol
Stop gentrifiying
Gringo loco..
