    Thank you so much, Im a complete novice when it comes to car maintenance. I had a pool of oil on the driveway but only seemed to leak when the engine was running. Came across your video and thanks to you I diagnosed it as oil pressure switch leak. Got replacement from Amazon for £7 just fit it and oil leak stopped. Thanks once again for saving me an unnecessary, and costly, trip to the garage. Now if only you could show me how to clean the engine 😆😆😆😉

      Thanks, I'm glad it helped & awesome work getting it sorted 👌. If you really do want to clean it, use a good degreaser and keep the water away from the alternator, coil packs and air intake and don't rush it. Good luck 🤞.
      Cheers Larcs 👍

    Hi Steve, Just spotted your video and subscribed. Thanks for all the attention and detail in fixing the leaking oil issue on the rocker gasket. Nice to see a clean engine. My Vauxhall 2004 Meriva A is showing the same symptoms and was wondering roughly how much it would cost to fix, (not a car mechanic unfortunately). Love the video and keep up the excellent work! 😊

      I'm sorry, I really wouldn't have a clue how much a garage would charge to do it?

    Hi, I have a question. My Corsa C 1.2 makes a ticking noise when the engine reaches temperature. I've read online that some people say it could be the timing chain or the lifters. However, others say that all Corsas make this noise. What can you tell me about it?

    • @LarcsWorkshop
      @LarcsWorkshop  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Big-Mc-X I wouldn't know for sure. Normally they make timing chain noises during start up unless the chain/guides are worn.

      @@LarcsWorkshop Ah ok no worries. Does the Corsa you are working on have any chain/guides problem?

    • @LarcsWorkshop
      @LarcsWorkshop  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Big-Mc-X . It does have a little rattle on start up but it stops straight away. It doesn't warrant changing yet.

    Amazing mate! Mine is leaking in the same spot. Do I need to drain the oil to do this though?

    • @LarcsWorkshop
      @LarcsWorkshop  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks, no problems. You don't need to drain the oil to replace the pressure switch, but a little bit of oil will dribble out when you remove it.

    How can you tell that the timing belt has been changed?

    • @LarcsWorkshop
      @LarcsWorkshop  ปีที่แล้ว

      This engine has a timing chain, not a belt👍.

    I have the same car, unfortunately I noticed my windows got really foggy every day, and that's because I have found a hour ago lots of water to my driver seat where my feet set on the carpet, so basically is under the carpet , no ideea how and from where. Probably is from the rain because we had lots of rain lately

      We had the same issue and it was coming from above the pedals, it's a common issue on Corsa C's. I've done videos of how we repaired it, you'll find them on my channel. If I can I'll put in a link.
      Cheers Larcs 👍

    I have a little more that milkcoffee and cams are slightly rusty i dont think thats normal, its leaking for sure coolant and yours too.

    • @LarcsWorkshop

      Rust on the cams is definitely not normal, even my T5 which had water in the oil didn't have that. His was more condensation and old oil, he's using it every day with no issues now.
