If you’re planning to reupload, make sure to update with the latest info. Sami Zayn has now wrestled in Saudi Arabia multiple times, receiving an incredible welcome each time. Wrestlers are always discussing their matches. Anyone within earshot will be asked for their thoughts on a match. They also talk extensively before heading to the ring, planning out what they want to achieve. This includes learning each other’s preferences for certain moves-what they like or dislike taking and performing.
Regardless... it's pretty ridiculous they're having events in country anyway. They hit on the fact that it's all about money and that's all that matters. They're not trying to do anything morally or help anyone... its to get money for a company to make stock holders happy....
@BadWolve The advancement of women’s wrestling in the Middle East is significant. Initially, there were no women wrestlers, but now they can compete in full body outfits with an additional shirt to conceal their figure. This has evolved to just body suits and multiple women’s matches per event. While WWE is profiting, their presence in Saudi Arabia has had a noticeable positive impact.
It is, but it sounds like he changed a few things after Maven reviewed it and said a lot of it wasn’t the case, so I think he edited this video to show examples of wrestlers talking about their experiences with certain traditions, which in fairness is what Maven said, each wrestler may have a different experience to him. Still a good video though.
Wonder if Miz realizes how lucky he was that all Benoit did was kick him out of a locker room. Also, it proves Benoit had ZERO pull when it came to what Taker says..
@@Elias6233It wouldn’t have mattered. Everyone knows Taker was pretty much always a locker room leader so I’m sure his approval still would’ve trumped Benoit’s ban.

Yeah. Stevie Richard’s has cleared it up many many times that the chair shot to JBL wasn’t a receipt. He talked to John about maybe kneeling down because he’s so tall and Stevie didn’t want to potato him. Bradshaw said nah go for it. Such a common misconception in the wrestling world
He even appeared in Saudi Arabia a PPV before and even introduced himself in Arabic when he was a tag team champion, I kinda like it as a Saudi myself although I wasn't into wrestling at that time
Wow I didn't know Rey had to ask for permission to wrestle with his mask again that's crazy the Lucha Libre commission don't play this was a good video.
"I really love the culture and history of wrestling. I appreciate the detailed segment about masked wrestlers and lucha libre ethics-I have a new appreciation for it. I also have no qualms with Rey Mysterio reusing the mask, as it was a bad booking decision from the start, even though I enjoyed his Filthy Animals character and faction. LOOOVVEEE the lucha Bros!! I absolutely love their swag and approach. They're fantastic. I sure hope they make the WWE someday because they deserve it. They could single handedly revitalize tag team matches. When i was younger tag teams were HUUUGGEEE. Now its an afterthought, usually just "team ups" of super stars. I'd love to see the old glory of the tag team division brought back to life and the Lucha Bros could do it.
the "wrestlers aren't suppose to talk about how their match went" thing is 100% not true. your agents, producers, and sometime veterans will talk to you about your match so you can work on it to get better. it would be nonsense not to even in wwe
Stevie Richards himself has said the superhard chairshot was an accident, it was NOT a receipt. He even apologized right after the match. JBL let the rumour spread to give himself heat. Which worked lol.
bro, a 2 min research would be good. Richards shared that initially, he was not comfortable with hitting JBL due to their height difference. JBL then wanted to turn the situation into an angle and advised Richards to say in an interview that the chair shot was a receipt for The Blue Meanie.
Wrestlers are constantly getting feedback from veterans regarding their matches. No, they don't necessarily run up to a Taker or a Cena to hear about how good they are, but they do ask what they could have done better and what to do differently when the crowd reacts in an unexpected way. There are a few things here that come off as an individual's speculation or even uneducated opinion of how things are or how they think things should be. Take what you will from it, and leave the rest.
Well the one thing this video taught me was it was chris benoit that kicked the miz out, im pretty positive when I heard this story miz didnt say who it was and im glad I finally know
The English thing.... so many Western wrestlers went to Japan and the Japanese are not the best in English to say the least. I always wondered how they worked around this.
After watching this vid, if you haven't already, watch Maven review this vid to conferm or deny the accuracy of this. I'd trust an actual wrestler saying what the backstage rules much more than this.
I think zayn can wrestle in Saudi Arabia but he chose not to wrestle because of the strain between Saudi Arabia and Syria. I remember there was a strike from a decent number of stars couple years back
ill say it as i did on the other one not sure what happened to it. If was a wwe superstar and i was told i no longer needed to clean i still would. was taught to leave a place the same way i found it or better.
