Very helpful. My issue is I have an old Peavey 4X10 or 4X12, and I need to check why it has this screaming sound when my amp is plugged into it. Same processes?
The speaker wires inside the cabinet seem very small for such a high quality speaker? Does larger wire have any better sound benefit? Great video. Thanks!
Nice video, man thanks a lot!!! I would like to know if the tip of the cable is always positive? I have the speakes set up on the cab ready to rock (Parallel connection) but i have this issue on the wiering. Cheers!!!
None of the connections on my speakers are labelled positive or negative. Is positive always the first connection clockwise (when you are facing the back of the speaker)?
I never knew how to do that until now. Especially with black and white. Thanks for a simple quick video.
You are welcome. Don't forget to subscribe! Got a cool new tip coming tomorrow
Thanks for the trick with the 9v battery. Helped me to correctly connect a speaker wiring harness to an old combo
Glad to hear it
best tutorial ever.
Thx man!
Nice and simple. Thanks man!
Thx man. Glad it helped

Yooo thanks for the battery tip I just turned my shitty Line 6 Spider Jam into a 1x12 cab and I was super worried about if I did the wiring correctly.
Awesome glad to help
Thank you, great clearly put information that helped me immensely. 👍🏻👍🏻

Yes to determine the positive and negative
you’re the best! well explained
Thx much appreciated

The lower the number of gauge... the thicker the wire. Most people like to be at 12 AWG.

I believe so but i don't wire this stuff often so that's why i use this trick to make sure it is all good
I have the wire colours as you have here but get the speaker popping back. Does that mean they’ve reversed the wiring colours?
Could be yes
None of the connections on my speakers are labelled positive or negative. Is positive always the first connection clockwise (when you are facing the back of the speaker)?
I don't think it is always the same
Scott what is the recommended awg wire size to use to wire the jack to the speaker? Is 22 awg sufficient? Thanks
Thicker the better. It carries a current online a guitar cable. I ran 12awg in my walls.
Great video tips man , it's the way to do . Is it the Marshall Origin you've got there Scott ?
Claude Disnard no that is the Marshall class 5. Love that amp especially on the celestion gold with the vumble cab you see here from vboutique
Cool !!!! I bet the sound must be incredibly good , Thanks Scott
Claude Disnard check this video out. This is the class 5 into that cab. th-cam.com/video/LElWLkm0imA/w-d-xo.html
cool!
Thx
Great video. Will the speaker still work if it’s wired incorrectly?
Yes, it will but if it is paired with any other speakers you will phase issues. If it is the only speaker then you wouldn't know the difference
If my speaker is wired incorrectly will I hear the difference?
You would for sure if you have two speakers, one right and one wrong
How do I check for ohms?
I'll see if i can make a video on that
dangerous to supply 1A to speaker
Why is it dangerous
