Yeah, I'm late to the Illumishade party, but glad I made it. Wow, what a song! The arrangement and Fabienne's voice are perfect. And that is one badass solo! First time I heard it, I knew that I had to learn it. It's so awesome and fun to play! Can't get enough of it.
It is a side project from 2 of Eluveitie's musicians, Jonas Wolfe (guitar) and Fabienne Erni (Vocals). Very different from their Heavy Folk Metal band Eluveitie but a great showcase of their talents. This album from Illumishade isn't out yet, this is the second single release.
WooooOOOoooOoo!!! Saw them last night in L.A... Super tiny venue. I was right up front. Missed the first band, but got there before Illumishade came on... Left after their set, didn't stay for the other two bands... Didn't want to ruin it. Illumishade was the "headliner" for me! If you are ANYWHERE near a show... GO!!! Fabi was "Fabulous"! Rest of the band killed it tooo, I think they got a few new fans there... ;-)

Ballads are sometimes boring, but this one is not :) It's emotional and at the same time powerful. Some nice heavier guitar riffs and of course Fabienne's vocal mastery make this song a very good one!
No matter what or direction I maybe scrolling through on the tube checking out something new something old or suggestions of videos or music. This beautiful voice and everything she sings will pop up in my flow and its awesome everytime i hear any of the music .
