Always wanted to be qb but we had one of the best in my state on my team. Dropped football for 3 years and now as a senior I’m trying to become a starting qb on a team that needs one. Thanks for this advice at this point anything helps.
Last time i played football was 5th grade, i dropped out for 3 years and next fall I'm gonna be playing again, but I want to be quarterback. Any thing I need to work on heavily.
Know the game as much as you can. Know what the difference between a 2 tech an a 3 or 4. Understand those things on day one and the coach won’t worry about if you are willing to learn the game. I’m an 8th grade coach.
I just got into football I have a strong arm because I am a baseball pitcher in 7th grade. Can you please give me a list of things I need to do because after a few weeks of throwing the ball with my dad and watching Patrick Mahomes I really fell in love with the game and now want to play qb for my school team.
@@Performancelabofcalifornia I feel like when I Throw I don't turn my hips enough so it takes away distance from my deep ball. I just want exercises to be able to throw far.Btw Your videos have helped a lot I am now starting Qb.
@@papoo5380 That's amazing bro good job 💯 I to also want to be a starting qb. In fact im grinding this summer so I can become a qb for my school. And one day ill make it to the NFL. Im really sorry for writing this I couldn't help it anyways I just really wrote this to say good job anyways gl.
@@papoo5380 Uhh ok. Now keep in mind theese might not be helpful it might idk you already became a startigm qb so don't be to surpised my tips aren't really gonna be helpful i have 2 tips if i can think of a 3rd on ill reply but throwing deep balls doesn't fully come down to your arm strenght its your hip rotation and leg stride and you should put your shoulders, hips and head in like a square position. And my last tip is your right foot should be slightly more to the right of the of the target. And yea, I tried my best to give you tips. But if you want a better understanding of the the square position I can send you a video link on where i got to from for a better understanding
I’m thinking about joining my high school football team as a junior. I’ve never played before, but I have a decent arm and I’ve been really wanting to play. I also play baseball and basketball . Any tips?
I want to play to and I have never played but from what I’ve learned the things you need to do are working on being consistent and working in lower body and core. You also just need a lot of reputations and need the ball in your hands. That’s for physical. As for mentally and just in general what I’ve learned is you need to stay with it no matter what and you need to be no nonsense. As much as you need to chill out and have fun if you are in the practice field or in the weight room you and your team are not fooling around and you are getting work in. Also you need the team behind you more than the guy you are competing with. Again I’m in the same boat as you but that’s what I’ve learned. Hope this helps you man.
Thanks Coach
Yes sir! 💯💪🏻

I would say try out our 7 day throwing program to help with improving your mechanics and foot work.

Join a football league that certain age groups can join. I mean Kurt Warner joined the NFL at 28 and he played arena football first.
