When Jesus finished the matter at the cross satan lost his power to oppress us: my people perish for lack of knowledge. Thank You Lord for You already made a public spectacle of him. You publicly displayed his shame at the cross.
Jesus finished it all at the cross of calvary , yet we still fast and pray to surmount obstacles. Please, we should not denigrate the ministry of deliverance. Deliverance ministries brought many to bow their knees to Christ after they or could not help themselves. Deliverance ministries, especially that of Dr. Olukoya has alleviated the tasks of many pastors and teachers in the body of Christ. To deny it is not true. Let's kindly respect each other's calling. I was once a partaker of deliverance ministries, and I am not ashamed of it because it has taught me about prayer an warfare and opened my spiritual eyes. Shalom

I think the main problem is applying what Christ did on the cross to our everyday deliverance. As easy as it is when said, its not easy applying in practical sense. But the most important thing is having a revelation of the power of the cross..once that is sorted, continue to trust the holy Spirit for application...it may not be an overnight success but with persistence, u will get it...

I know the truth shall set us free....but let's not close our eyes to the fact that many have prayed on some cases using this truth and the case keeps lingering. I tell u that application through the Holy Ghost is the way out. At times, a secret towards a matter needs to be unfold, then u apply the truth you already knows and here comes the deliverance...it's not all the cases that u just declare the word of God and u receive deliverance just like that... especially if it's a legal matter, u need to still take to the court of heaven...these things are deep ..

So, please, how do we marry the fact that it's the same apostle Paul that was used to give the church the revelation of the victory that the Lord Jesus Christ won against principalities on our behalf on the cross that was also used to make clear the purpose of the church in delivering creation from the bondage of corruption, teaching us to wrestle against principalities and powers and spiritual wickedness in high places to the end that we might liberate creation from them? And, in fact, he didn't just teach it, he lived it by wrestling with beasts as with the manner of men at Ephesus, obtaining great glory unto our God. I dare say, it's because the majority of the church don't engage in the dislodging of the strong men upon territories that their seeds have multiplied on the earth and are all out against whoever shows any potential for rising against them.
