Jordan Smith gives a career defining performance on this song, he sings his heart out. When Jordan sings that second "the lamb" and goes into the stratosphere with his powerful voice, he pulls himself, the pianist, the arrangement, the orchestra and the audience straight into the Throne room of God. WELL DONE JORDAN, WELL DONE!!!
This is the first video of yours I’ve come across! This is in my top 5 Christmas songs. Powerful every time I hear it. “This baby you delivered would soon deliver you.” Absolutely beautiful. Thank you for this! Loved the video!
Awww, well I'm glad the algorithms got you here! Hopefully my charm will get you to stay haha... this was a great song and performance on both Tommee and Jordan's part, notwithstanding the amazing musicians accompanying them... amazing!!! Thanks for watching with me!!! ❤️✨
I need to know whether I go back and react to the concert that Tommee Profitt did - because it was a Christmas one - and we're about to be in March!!! Haha
Glad you've discovered this song -- and these artists. Great reaction! You mentioned the "live show". Yes, I'd highly recommend that you watch (and react!) to the entire "Birth of a King (Live)" concert; it's breathtakingly beautiful! (The concert was recorded in Nashville, TN in December 2022 -- I was fortunate enough to be in the audience for the performance!). BTW - Fun fact: Tommee Profitt is the guy who produces music for NF (another 🔥 artist)...
The live concert is amazing, just over an hour long. Dimash always takes his in-ears out, but more for wanting to hear himself and the audience than anything else. Mary Did You Know, was first recorded in 1991, the lyrics were written in 1984, but didn’t get music put to it until 1991. So it has been around for a while, but not as well known as the ones that have been around for forever. If you want a funky version of a well known Christmas song- All I Want For Christmas cover by Chase Holfelder he changes is from a major key to a minor key, which is awesome. As for a Christmas movie, a newer animated one on Netflix is Klaus, came out 2 maybe 3 years ago… SO good!! And an older one - The Ref- Denis Leary, Kevin Spacey, Judy Davis very ‘language’ accented (it’s Denis Leary) but a good story.
My GOD your accent gives me asmr tingles If you haven’t done a reaction to his cover of “somebody to love”, that he did on the voice in 2016, PLEASE do it. I PROMISE, you will be BLOWN AWAY! Also, he took the “in ear” out right before he held the long note on “Mary did you knoowwww”, because it helps, (when you have to sustain a note like that), to hear the ambient noises around you, along with how your voice is resinating in the space. This way, you can tell exactly what the audience is hearing
Oh wow, I'm so sorry I'm only seeing this now!!! 🤦🏾♂️ but thank you so much for that! And I DO need to return to some of Jordan Smith so yes, I'll push this up the list! 🤪❤️✨️
It's working. But most great vocalist would remove half of the ear monitors so they would hear how it sound with the audience and usually it's when they need to sustain high notes. 😊😊😊
Great reaction. This is such a beautiful song, and I remember Jordan Smith from when he was competing on The Voice. He's got a really good voice. If you're interested, my favorite performance of the song is by Clay Aiken. Another awesome singer that you're probably unaware of. No offense obviously, but it seems most people don't know him 🙂 He also emerged on one of those contests, and his performance of "Solitaire" was what REALLY put him on my musical map. Take care and stay safe 🙂 And have a beautiful Christmas! Love from Norway ♥♥♥♥♥
Thanks for reacting. I enjoyed it. I really really want you to react to Evvie McKinney's rendition of "What Child Is This" from this same concert. The power in that song is breathtaking.
Me encanta tú reacción y comentarios,Jordan es fantastico soy su fans...me encanta ver videos llenos de profecionalismo..ve y escucha Mister.grinch.es divertido lleno de su tecnica vocal.
With respect to the in-ears. I use them when I sing at my church, but sometimes it feels like you are very isolated. It's a pretty dry mix and not as natural as say wedges, but, but it is a clean sound and sometimes an instrument might be a bit much or the background track is too late. It's a lot if different things that might bug a vocalist, but then again wedges can be frustrating too. It is a better way to go, but sometimes one ear feels better mix wise and it allows you to hear the ambiance of the house which might be a nicer blend for you. Ok enough tech talk.
Hey bro, listen to Joy Williams "Here with Us" you will love it... I'm a personal friend to Wade and we sing together. He told me about your channel today and I Love your reaction my man. Tommee Profitt is awesome!!
Hey David! 👋🏾😀 Well any friend of Wade, sure a friend of mine now! Ha, appreciate you coming along to my channel buddy! I've jotted Joy Williams on to my list and will get on it as soon as I can!! Happy Holidays to you! ❤️✨

Jordan Smith singing, Queen's "Somebody to Love", on The Voice is minding blowing. I highly recommend it, as well. ♥️🎶🥰🎶♥️
