Along w Connors' come back against krickstein the following year this is the best come back I've ever seen in the pros.. the video doesn't show Krajicek had triple match point on serve and Lendl didn't crack. then krajicek at 18 y.o. was gassed. Saw it live and remember being in shock. yes, it was a great era in tennis add to this the ascent of Sampras!

Lendly savng triple match piont in this one and toasting in like 18 minutes was the greatest comeback erekrajicek and coach were in sghock cause K hadn't lost a pint on serve in two sets until he was standing there w one point from match. will never forget it- awesome sauce.
Intgersting match. I have been watching some matches from Lendl and from Krajicek. And I really think that Krajicek just is a better player than Lendl.
Hilarious! Krajicek was never ranked higher than number 4, and he only won 1 grand slam, and 17 titles overall. Lendl was number 1 for 270 weeks in his career, and won 8 grand slams, and 94 titles overall.
bigger shots maybe but not more consistent and here kraj lacked condition he was only 18 and Lendl had nerves of steel and came back to win, this video doesn't show the most critical part- one of the best hang in there, make the big shots and then win matches of all time.

The 1991 US Open really was magical. So many amazing matches - such a shame that the finals were such a let down!

Krajicek should have played after 2000 at age 20 and most of today 's champions would not have existed in Wimbledon and hard court .
