I haven’t heard Alex Organ in a dub in years so I was surprised to find out he was voicing Loid. I originally had Robbie Daymond in mind for Loid when I read the manga but Alex is pretty good. I also originally had Brianna Knickerbocker in mind for Anya but Megan Shipman sounds perfect as her. This dub looks like it’ll be really great.
I really though Alex organ was done after he said he wouldn’t be voicing Makishima for any future psycho pass dubs. I’m glad he’s doing something though because shogo voice is top tier
You and me both the last time i ever heard from organ was from the code geass OVA akito the exiled after that I thought he retired from voice acting guess he’s back (then again i think Ricco Fajardo did same thing he VA’d for a while left for 2-3 years then returned in assassination classroom as itona horibe)
I always see people say this and think the same thing. There’s a lot of anime fans in English speaking countries so of course the dubs are gonna be good now.

And no, just because they have higher pitch voice doesn't make Japanese girls have childish voice, in fact you can almost always tell if it's a child or a teenage girl or older by their voice. And it's not even just the voice, it's the way the child speaks, they don't always say the words right, the grammar is often messed up, the intonation is different than an adult's, and the sub voice actor did all those perfectly making Anya a very convincing 5 yearlod that is very cute and adorable.
It feels so great hearing Alex Organ’s voice again. His performance as Decim in Death Parade will forever be his best. Of course some will argue and say his performance as Shōgo Makishima from Psycho-Pass is better, but in my opinion, it’s Decim for me
Sammmme, Decim is his best role and endeared me to him so much, and made me cry 😭😭😭 I also slightly preferred him as Aizawa in MHA (though Chris Wehkamp is amazing too). I'm so happy to hear Alex finally back!! he's a great fit for Loid. 🥺❤

Anya’s eng VA sounds like a 8 yr old trying to pass off for a 4-5 yr old and that’s very impressive normally ya hear some kids in anime and you’re like yeah an older lady. On the other hand, Loid in eng sounds more deeper and sort of monotone but still with some emotion like eng Nozaki from the anime monthly girls nozaki Pretty okay and Frankie’s voice is nice too can’t wait to hear Yor and Yuri 👍

They start enrollment at age 6. Which is why Anya says she’s 6 - because she’s a kid, can read minds and she wants to be adopted by the cool spy man Of course nobody knows how old she is. That being said, there are only two episodes out, if your interest is already starting to pick up, then by the end of the first season when it starts to show more of its full power - you’ll be hooked anyways.
Twilight/Loid really sounds deeply classy for me lol. Anya also sounds good, honestly I'm pretty shocked that the dub was already coming and the cast of voices so far are actually really good.

I’ve been a fan of anime for 20 years now. This is the FASTEST I have EVER seen an anime get dubbed and put out. I mean the sub literally only has two episodes out right now and the second sun episode premiered yesterday. Seriously wtf. I love it
The script is overly literal as it's p. much the same as the subtitle script. That's a bad thing because then the voices sound stilted. That said, Anya's voice isn't bad and I like it, I also enjoy Alex Organ but there's, like, no acting or emotion being done here as Loid. It's like he's just reading the script. In comparison to the JP which manages to capture Loid's serious, emotionless demeanor whilst still sounding like he's acting and putting emotion into it. Hope it improves.

I’ve always noticed that dub for children typically sounds cringe cuz you can totally tell its an older person trying baby their voice, i wish they just cast little kids for those VA. Loid's voice feels unnatural T - T, so deep
Alex doesn't feel like he's trying to even play the character and just reading the lines. I'm quite saddened by this.
It should be noted that he left voice acting for a while, it's not easy to suddenly adjust.
