that's not a record store. it's a book shop that sells records. my brother lived by it for over 10 years. i've been there like 200 times. it's a great used bookstore.
I know this may be sacrilegious, but she is actually what "American Idol" needs. I realize she is way out of its league as far as coolness, nor am I a big fan of the show, but I would actually watch it if she became a judge. She is honest and edgy, has a vast and interesting background in music, and is knowledgeable. She is also funny in a deadpan, PBS-British sitcom sort of way. She would add credibility and freshness. She is quirky, but her fame is understated enough to not overpower her role.
samantha and the rest who complain (and she's really disgusted by the attention paparazzi is giving her) would fall flat with out the attention but she's so unappreciative.

which makes it even worse! she's like in her late thirties yet she dresses, speaks, and acts like some teenaged hipster kid.
