So fun fact in Swedish the stapes is called stigbygeln, which can be translated into "the stirrup", which I honestly think is a perfect match considering how that tiny little bone looks

My Anatomy and Physiology classes were broadly applicable after all, and the stapes has been my favorite bone since I was six, lol (horse kid x bio nerd). Congrats on the baby, Jacob and Julia!
