Some tips from someone who spent their childhood playing this game:
1. You can put soda bottles between boxes to center the thrust which will give you more speed.
2. Putting the soda bottle on the bottom can give you more distance during a jump because of the slight upward thrust.
3. If you don't have enough metal boxes, alternating wood and metal will still increase durability.
4. Attach important parts to metal as they will hold better.
5. When using umbrellas, you can weight the vehicle evenly to land flat or put more weight on one side or the other to land on a slope.
As someone who played bad piggies as a child once, these tips work.

It's been SUPER long since I played this game, but I remember that the *glowing skulls* that are visible in some levels are their own type of collectible, and you've missed a few already.

especially on 1-24, which I call the death level. Your setup and input to the car need to be perfect in order to get the star and to complete it in general

Tip for 1-23:
The method is to place two frames at the leftmost side of the grid, with a TNT box in the left and the pig on the right. Once the contraption is finished, it will drop into the ground and detonate the TNT, which results in the pig phasing through the wall and completing the level with only 2 stars.
TH-cam should remove comments until a video has been out for its length otherwise we have people praising a video they didn’t watch

Something that might help (at least on mobile devices but I'd assume PC and stuff too) you can click on the actual vehicle on screen to activate the parts instead of the buttons at the bottom. This allows you to activate two of the same type of part (EG bottles) separately at different times
More Angry Birds lore: The Chef Pig from the next episode (which chronologically is the 4th) is actually the Wiz Pig from Angry Birds Epic. He really wants to betray the King.

Love these videos, bad piggies was my FAVORITE mobile game as a kid. One thing that might help is putting soda in the middle/on the bottom. When it’s on top, it tends to make the car do a front flip

There are skulls on some levels that you need to collect to unlock a secret level (there are 40 of them in the whole game), but you don't need to finish the level after getting the skull.
The sheer level of incompetence present in this video is giving me brain damage

As a Bad Piggies "expert" (speedrunner and strategy developer) I might have an explanation for why you guys didn't get the star on level III. Normally to get the together star (as I call it) you bring the pig and the king pig together to the finish line, however this is not the only way to do it. You can actually bring them separately and I have done so a few times in some of my strategies (see 1-VIII, 2-8 and 3-16). The catch though is that the king pig must be touching the flag when the regular pig does. Once you kraked the game changed the requirement to the both intersect one and at the same time the game considered the pig still attached to the vehicle which is why the level finished (weird things happen after kraks sometimes). Once the level finished I think the game checked for the location of the king pig and since the king pig was not touching the finish line you weren't given your star.
Edit: I was reviewing an old video of 1-VIII before I sucessfully got all three stars in one run and found a situation similar to this but the king pig was touching the finish line and the game used part of the broken contraption to count as the the pig crossing the line. I didn't get the star that time so maybe it was just the fact that the regular pig never crossed the line that was the issue. Stars in this game can be finicky.
Apart from that the level 23 strategy was interesting as in my 100% WR run I was going for the star and I kept kraking in a bad way and it took me a full minute to get things right.
I'd also like to thank you for inspiring me to speedrun Bad Piggies with your old videos. Hell as of writing this I hold the record for Rise and Swine which was the second category you ran.

You can tap on a singular object that has a function without having to press the blue button that triggers 1 or all of the functioning objects that it triggers
For example: there are 2 umbrellas on a little car, you can tap or click on only one to trigger one only, instead of pressing the blue button that triggers both of them
If ben would had read the manual, he would already known that+other usefull tricks

I dont consider myself a Bad Piggies "expert" too, but i just want to do some long commentary about a feature i found in this game (hopefully its still there and yes ive suffered through this game alot). There are two types fireworks (red & blue) right? Each of them have a blue-tier skin with a "TNT" in them (which is obtainable through the scrap machine or opening boxes).
This firework feature, in which cases explode once the said firework runs out. It can be both useful, funny, and has made me nuts trying to utilize it each time (both main levels and the sandbox). This only worked for me in specific levels with iron and fireworks (night, pigs fly, candy, ice levels, etc.)
[Stop reading from this point if you dont have the item or dont have the time dwelling into the depths of this game, the scrap thing is wayy too luck-based and its so hard to obtain these two skins, im aware both Eazy and Bryan were just having a good time in the video. I just wanted this feature to be known by some who dont, who knows it may or may not be helpful if you ever want to speedrun this game in the future with a full-on Firework + TNT feature in one object.]
Throughout my childhood when playing this game and had collected all stars and skins through sheer dedication (Not a single tutorial watched, my dad downloaded it for me and i was happy af it existed, i had other games too and this was one of the top games ive played alot. I used to live in a remote place and had no access to the internet, offline games were my only source of entertainment).
Having all that said, you can unequip the "TNT firework" skin after placing the desired spots so you can then place normal ones and not have a boom fest 😂😂 Your contrapti-- vehicle WILL NOT survive with wood objects, and less than 2 of these "TNT fireworks" WILL survive under the condition of having it at full-iron objects without it getting Kraked. Do not, and i mean DO NOT, place these in the middle of your vehicles. Iron or not, it will discombobulate, they disappear after the boom part basically.
I have an in-depth knowledge with this game and a few other games too, i just found this exact feature to personally be a gag and "why-does-it-even-exist" for me, thats all. [P.S. theres a free silver box at the end of the credits, and a blobfish skin at start of the screen beside the starfish or the map.]
If you also managed to read all of that, I fully admire you for your dedication holyy.
also alien parts exist but they're really grindy, you need every cosmetic/skin to even unlock them. they can be really nice sometimes tho (not even i have them but in a few days i will)

I really want to see them do the sandbox levels. They're so janky and full of glitches. I was able to glitch through the floor and get a box very easily
You can also point those suction cup things at your car with blocks above them to hold it up, and keep spamming the button. Eventually youll get a bunch of random boxes at your spawn place
It is entirely possible to duplicate any part except the pig in sandbox levels
There are skulls all over the levels that you can collect to unlock a secret thing

I genuinely want to scream at the screen every time he uses the umbrella completely wrong. You mostly have to close it when rolling and open it when not just in free-fall, but _about_ to land. It saves a ton of time as opened umbrellas slow you down bigtime.
I though that mechanic boi fell down into the underground in the cutscene for the dark levels because his hat fell, but it seems he dropped it while running.

The only engine stronger than the V8 is the alien engine, which is like what, 10 times stronger? The only way to get it is with the scrapper and unlocking ALL designs. The engine then replaces the normal weak (green) engine.
