Two things. 1) When I woke up and saw that You uploaded It felt the world for me(and I didnt remember how it was to feel that much hype about something. And seing Am casually smiling made me wanna cry, it's one of the most satisfying frames I've seen i'm my life! 2) Now, about the MV... Wow, I was hyped but that thing just blew up my mind, the animation is just so fluido and the use of colors make me feel that fake happiness that then gets obliterated by those dark sections, I just love the way you can interpret a song to make these animatics. As always miffed, you have something special for me that no other animator makes me feel, congrats for this!
I've always loved songs that sound happy and upbeat on the surface but have an unsettling (or otherwise negative) underlying vibe. This animation is a perfect visual representation of that feeling. It's mostly colorful, vibrant and flashy, but there are occasional loud, messy visuals. Especially around 2:09 with the barcode faced spooky lips girl. It makes the vibrant parts have a bit of an eerie fake happiness when they eventually come back. I don't know if that makes any sense, I just absolutely love this sort of juxtaposition of vibes. I love your work keep it up! and thanks for sharing with us
