Mam how to provide an additional ip address to an instance?? I am trying to do this by adding a interface but at a time I am able to only ping a single interface and I also trying to update a port but the result are same. If u have any idea plz reply me. Thanks
Hey Shivam, In the navigation pane, choose Network Interfaces, and then select the network interface attached to the instance. Choose Actions, Manage IP Addresses. Under IPv4 Addresses, choose Assign new IP. Hope this helps!
i get error 1006 when entering console. Could you help me step by step? and also i followed your tutorial about creating openstack on centos virtualbox.
Hi Miguel, the error is usually due to improper /etc/nova/nova.conf configuration. To fix the issue, set Compute’s own IP in /etc/nova/nova.conf on each Compute node. Restart Compute service. Do let us know if you face more issues.
