The Big 10 showed last year during the playoffs that they can defeat the SEC's strongest teams. Don't sleep, this year's potential playoff bracket is going to be must watch TV.
No they didn’t. They showed that a once in 50 years caliber of one of the Big 10s best two teams, could beat a good SEC team, if the SEC team had their center decide to completely forget how to do the job of snapping the football to the QB, with the QBs snap cadence. It’s pretty easy to beat any team, when their QB starts every other play by having to chase the football across the ground because it got snapped at their ankles, and half of those were snapped before the QB had even called for the snap. A good high school team could probably win that game at least 1/5 times. And it was the best team Michigan has had in like 50 years. The only team that has actually been good enough to be consistently considered a good matchup for the top of the SEC is Ohio State, and it’s not like they’ve been left out the last 10 years. They’ve had chance after chance, and it has gone their way one time. And even then, it took them having a miracle run with a 3rd string QB to pull it off that time. Literally, the ACC has been a better conference in those matchups, than the Big 10, Big12 &, PAC 12 combined in the last decade.

Since so many of these talking heads love the SEC so much. Why not have the top 3 preseason SEC teams play a schedule that includes the top 3 Big 10 and ACC schools, then they could stop crying about who the other conferences play vs how tough their schedule is?
If Lewis invests half of that NIL money in a decent fund, lets call it an average of 5% return, and leaves it for the next 20 years, he'll have $15M or so. Considering the average annual income of someone 10 years out of college with a business degree is around $125K, he's well ahead of the game for total earnings while living off of double that average.
SEC Bias and brand deals with the new playoff system. I see the conference disbanding and they'll more than likely make a league with the other Power 5, that's the road we are heading down. Crazy how Texas changed the scope of the entire sport.
If Cignetti had the resources of OSU, IU would win 100 straight games. OSU should be embarrassed they've been so close with teams with nothing. They have countless 5 stars and more money than a king. Having your record isn't impressive when you get everything handed to you.
If the question is, would I rather have the bye or be one of the 8 teams which plays first round but have a home game.. and I would be, give me the Bye. I want my guys as fresh as possible.. I do not want them to possibly get an injury playing the extra round.. and we have seen this same example time and time again in the NFL, which use to have two teams getting a bye, and now they're down to just one team getting the bye.. think KC does not want that bye or that Detroit does not want that bye.. sure they do.. its one less game to have to play.. its win two games and you are in the Superbowl, as opposed to winning three games to get into the Superbowl.. always take the bye.. unless of coarse you believe the opponents you face in the bracket are lessor then perhaps the top team which you would not want to face until the championship game.. whatever gets you to the championship game, that is what you want.. and the shortest way there is often having the Bye..
So by this logic, Ohio State shouldn't have played Oregon, Penn St. shouldn't played OSU or IU shouldn't play OSU because they may lose to each other. So everyone is scared to lose? If they don't play each other they'll all be undefeated. "Yeah." Man Up! and play, win, lose or draw. As long as teams play each other, someone will lose. Crying about playing each other is sad.
Hey they MIGHT get the best teams in but .. they play more games and don't think they are going to be "fresh" when they get to the end of that bracket... and don't forget risk additional injuries.... I think it's a crappy way to monetize ... it's all about the money sponsors and the NCAA

Here we go.....the new SEC gripe....going north isn't fiar.....with that said, they should have won their games
lol who is your team friend? Roll Tide.
Nobody said it’s not fair. What’s the excuse going to be when the SEC rolls in takes no prisoners and rolls on to the next round of the playoffs?
It’s funny that B1G fans say this when their own teams don’t even play in December at home
@@HawgWyldFishingI think I heard Georgia’s coach saying it wasn’t fair.
Good players are good anywhere, or else southern kids wouldn’t get drafted in the NFL. It’s all overblown, home field advantage is way more important than weather
Since so many of these talking heads love the SEC so much. Why not have the top 3 preseason SEC teams play a schedule that includes the top 3 Big 10 and ACC schools, then they could stop crying about who the other conferences play vs how tough their schedule is?
they wouldn’t be in the SEC at that point idiot. None of these ACC or BIG10 teams could survive an SEC schedule. Not one. So shut up
We already did that and won.
Pat look like he’s freezing 😂
ROLL TIDE
If Lewis invests half of that NIL money in a decent fund, lets call it an average of 5% return, and leaves it for the next 20 years, he'll have $15M or so. Considering the average annual income of someone 10 years out of college with a business degree is around $125K, he's well ahead of the game for total earnings while living off of double that average.
Bit unf they don't all do thar. They buy expensive things, give it to family and a few years broke
Audio keeps glitching off
Weird that all the north teams are getting the home playoff spots, not mad just curious. Bama vs Penn State, you tell me who’s winning
SEC Bias and brand deals with the new playoff system. I see the conference disbanding and they'll more than likely make a league with the other Power 5, that's the road we are heading down. Crazy how Texas changed the scope of the entire sport.
The 12 team playoff was probably one of the best things to ever happen to college football
Pats a Indiana Hoosier trader
HOOSIERS WILL PULL IT OFF!!
If Cignetti had the resources of OSU, IU would win 100 straight games. OSU should be embarrassed they've been so close with teams with nothing. They have countless 5 stars and more money than a king. Having your record isn't impressive when you get everything handed to you.
Go Indiana
The SEC can’t play in the cold 😂
They doing fine in the NFL ain't they?
@@RonTDBeach team is a mix of a lot of players and most the guys in the SEC are from the South
@@OSU2010 Try Again. Eagles & Lions have a lot of former Georgia & Bama players and they play as good if not better than when they were in college.
Everybody wants to play Boise state 😂
LMAO
OSU is going to Choke!
Indiana is pull out
The Rocky Upset.
Money is on IU ... gonna Win Big $$$
UGA and alabama in natl championship
Here we go…crying about SEC eating up its teams…every conference does that…
So by this logic, Ohio State shouldn't have played Oregon, Penn St. shouldn't played OSU or IU shouldn't play OSU because they may lose to each other. So everyone is scared to lose? If they don't play each other they'll all be undefeated. "Yeah." Man Up! and play, win, lose or draw. As long as teams play each other, someone will lose. Crying about playing each other is sad.
Indiana is the who of the SEC, Vanderbilt, Kentucky?
Kentucky. Maybe Northwestern as Vandy
Home advantage can be counterproductive
Go USMA, beat ND!
Hey they MIGHT get the best teams in but .. they play more games and don't think they are going to be "fresh" when they get to the end of that bracket... and don't forget risk additional injuries.... I think it's a crappy way to monetize ... it's all about the money sponsors and the NCAA
SEC has had home field advantage in bowl games for decades! UGA playing in the Peach Bowl, Florida playing in the Orange and Citrus Bowl, LSU in the Sugar Bowl, Texas in the Cotton Bowl.
Now the SEC Propaganda Department known as ESPN is complaining that they may finally, for the first time in history, have to come north! It's unreal how soft these Southerners are!
Whatever. The SEC would be favored in every game with these latest hypothetical matchups according to Fan Duel.
Y’all are gonna be so pissed and out of excuses when all the SEC teams go up north and win. Imagine needing ice and cold weather on your side to be able to compete 🤣. Such crybaby loser, you B10 folks are
