    When Geppetto looks to the stars and sees the brightest one in the sky, he wishes with all of his heart to one day have a son of his own, so that night the star transformed and traveled to him. Within Geppetto's home appeared a beautiful blue fairy who grants his puppet Pinocchio the gift of life, thereby fulfilling Geppetto’s wish. This fairy brings magic into the world of Pinocchio and possesses a great amount of power, yet we practically know nothing about her. We don’t even have her real name!

      you know... due to the timeframe that cinderella takes placde in (late middle ages/early reneisance) I would think that fairy godmother from cinderella is either the mother or grandmother of the blue fairy. (who really knows the lifespan of a fairy)
      or it could be that the blue fairy lived a mortal life once and due to her pure heart, the gods (from Hercules) made her into a star, forever youthfull and with greater powers than ever before.

    The Blue Fairy being Evangeline is one of those fan theories I consider confirmed ^^ It's too great and makes too much sense.
    Though, I don't think Evangeline granted Peter's wish. Though there are a lot of origin stories for Peter Pan, I've always thought he was brought to life by Wendy's tales and the belief of her and her brothers. If anything, Evangeline granted WENDY's wish to have her imaginary friend and his world of adventures come to life, which taught her a lesson (which is what fairy godmothers are all about).

    Actually Ray called the evening star Evangeline. The name means "Good News" or "Bringer of Good News" though I would think that the name was used in the movie just because it was pretty and kind of sounds like evening.
    Sorry for that little nit pick, but if its any consolation, I do think your theory is still plausible, and that minor detail doesn't change a thing. In fact, in a way, it still fits in the theory, cause what better news is there then your wish coming true.

    I absolutly love this theory. The blue fairy has always been my favorite character in all fairytails and I completly agree that she is really powerful. In OuaT she is also the leader of the fairies and I think that goes along well with your theories.
    The only problem I see is the timing of Peter Pan, I always thought it took place during the first or second decade of the 20th century.
    But still, I really did like the theorie 😁

  • @dianamnajarro5119
    @dianamnajarro5119 7 ปีที่แล้ว +46

    I like this, I really do but there is one thing that bugs me about the whole thing. What if instead of Peter wishing for Neverland but Wendy and her brothers. Think about the beginning of the movie, how the siblings were playing reading a story. They wished for it. Peter was strange, he never seemed like a real person(to me at least), more like a child who grew hearing and reading stories about would envision him. There were certain points where Peter didn't seem understand that certain things were dangerous. Peter was the wish. watching Peter Pan and the sequel there happens to be an underlined lesson. To me it is, that's it's okay to believe and grow up. This wish theory would make more sense if it was the children's wish and not Peter's. Just saying.

    • @simonacannizzo1074
      @simonacannizzo1074 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      But Peter is a kid too ... Just not human. I think he's a dead 13 year old inspired by David Barrie with Peter Illweyn Davis name.

    • @dianamnajarro5119
      @dianamnajarro5119 7 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      Simona Cannizzo the first part of the movie, it was said that they believed Peter Pan was a real person. If he wasn't actually real to begin with a wish come true, the it would explain several things that even as a child didn't make sense to me. I saw the return to Neverland before seeing the Original. Peter's character and personality didn't make sense then and it didn't make anymore sense after I watched the original. There was a lot of emphasis on the Second Star. Peter was first introduced in 1902 in The little white bird, Peter Pan the Movie was taking place in the 1920s as the sequel takes place in the 1940s. Since Princess and the Frog also takes place in 1920s I would say the a only a few years or so passes between the two. The oldest wasn't any older than twelve meaning at least Wendy and John grew up during the first world War. making a wish to meet a boy who never grows up isn't that far of stretch as they constantly told stories about him to keep their minds off it. Peter Pan was a symbol in their lives. He came to life... it's just my opinion, this theory that had been bouncing around my head but I felt there was peace missing to it. Thinking the Blue Fairy having a hand in it, made it all come together. This was just side theory that goes well with this one, especially when you add the second movie into the mix.

      @IsaacCarlson  7 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    In fact stars have a very large part in Disney all together. They hold great mystery and magic. They could be many things: fairies, portals, or deceased loved ones. Whatever they are, you have to wonder whether stars are actually "balls of gas burning millions of miles away" as Pumba said.

    I really love this theory! However, Peter Pan couldn't happen in the 1930's/After The Princess & the Frog because Peter Pan 2 takes place during WW2 & Wendy is grown up & has 2 kids. I think Peter Pan & The Princess & the Frog might've happened at the same time in order to be accurate with Peter Pan 2

    • @IsaacCarlson

      Well I looked it up and people estimate Wendy to be around thirteen or fourteen so if it was ten years later she would be around twenty three or twenty four. Ana Baldani You're very right- the movie, musical and stage play are all based on J.M.Barrie's book, and unfortunately for the theory, it is set in the Edwardian era, sometime between 1900 and 1910. Therefore, Peter Pan takes place before the events of The Princess and The Frog.

    • @yamisart
      @yamisart 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Wotso Videos even though I personally think Peter Pan took place in early 1900 your theory could work. Kinda... If we'd set Peter Pan also in the mid to late twenties. Wendy's daughter looks like...dunno...10 or 11. Children were evacuated from London during WW2 from 1940-1946. Makes her being born in the early to mid thirties. If princess and the frog took place in the early twenties and Wendy had Jane pretty early in her life it could definitely fit in the timeline. But anyway, really cool theory about the blue fairy!

Off topic but the blue fairy statue in a movie called "Artificial intelligent" also very similar to her too.

    There's another theory about the blue fairy. If she's a descendant to the night sky , then does she have any weather powers that are related to Elsa the Snow Queen? It's sort like saying when you wish upon a star as a metaphor in the sky and Let it Go from Frozen I'm one with the wind and sky as a metaphor for the winter.

    My theory is that the Blue Fairy is the oldest, the wisest and most powerful magic user in all of the Disney multiverse, with the possible exception of master Yen Sid. If needed be, she could go toe to toe with Maleficent or Hades and easily defeat them. Yet, she prefers to fight them by making the world a better place, thus diminishing their influence.

We're never given a clear explanation of what will become of her on the other side, since this is the only time death Himself experienced true love and his lover passed willingly with him to be by his side. Perhaps she was made into the blue fairy

    I think The Blue Fairy gave him access to Neverland over creating it from scratch. I mean she didn't create Tinkerbell. I believe more that she gave him access to that place and some abilities to help him have his own adventures.

    Have you read the book? Pinocchio was made from a magic piece of wood, which brought him life. When Pinocchio first met the Blue Fairy, she was a young girl. Later she was a young woman. Also Pinocchio killed a talking cricket with a hammer. Disney takes lots of liberties with the books he uses for his movies.

    I think "Angeline" could be the sister of "Mother Nature" and Tinker Bell's place is Pixie Hollow which have existed long before Peter and could be interesting discovering how Pixie Hollow began and how eventually Neverland came to be surrounding "the heart of it" ( which is Pixie Hollow ), Neverland ( Pixie Hollow )the land of Angeline brings the magic of the seasons to the land of her sister, Mother Nature., but the only Disney references to Mom Nature are the Santa Clause movies and "sprite Spring" from Fantasia

    My theory is the timeline of Disney's movies. Pinocchio sets way before Peter Pan(1906). The Princess and the Frog sets in 1920s. The same year as other Disney's movies, like 101 Dalmatians. Another thing, the Blue Fairy is the first faiy been created by the authur of Pinocchio. Our north star really the Sun, that really means the blue star next to our Sun. In Disney's movies and our universe is one the same. My point is that we saw 2 stars in Peter Pan. The north star(our Sun), had been not near the blue star at time of Pinocchio. In the Princess and the Frog north star(our Sun) been reappeared at the time. I should know, I am very good as at astrology science.
