thank you so much Alby! the halation is edited in post, I think you need the studio version of davinci resolve to use halation but there are other work around too that are free but I just use the halation node provided in the cineprint16 powergrade :)

The kit lens is actually a decent lens so if you have it, I would suggest that you try it out and figure out its weaknesses, strengths and which focal length that you like! But I started of with the kit lens and then I bought the sigma 16mm and later the Sony 18-105 which this whole video was recorded with! If i could choose one I would probably go with the Sony 18-105 due to its versatility :)
You don't have to! The only thing that you won't be able to use with Cineprint on the free version, is the grain and denoise node on the power grade but other than that you're good to go! Almost all my videos were color graded using Cineprint on the free version of Davinci Resolve! :)
