Back in my junior year, there was this Filipina girl I liked (I’m Filipino). She was the sweetest person I’ve ever met. She had the nicest smile, beautiful personality, and everything you could ever want in a person. She was absolutely loved by everybody. There was just one problem... she was already taken. Her boyfriend was two years older than we were, who just graduated from our high school. He was stronger, taller, and handsome. Even though he wasn’t at our school anymore, they were still together. I decided not to tell her about my feelings to not interfere with their relationship, and it hurt so much. Everyday, I wanted to tell her how I felt for her, but I never did because I cared for her. Everyday, I wanted to be that person who told her she was beautiful, that she was loved. But I guess things weren’t meant to be that way. I listened to this song many times to try to ease the pain I felt. I’ve never related to a song so much before. Towards the end of the school year, I finally moved on. Summer passed and it was now our senior year. I heard that over the summer, the two broke up. By this time, I was with someone else now. Things weren’t going well though, as she broke up with me just after a couple of months. One thing I learned about the girl I initially liked was that her boyfriend wasn’t treating her very well while she was still in school, which is why they eventually broke up. What I didn’t know was that she spent much of our junior year depressed over her current boyfriend. And, she also kind of had feelings me the last few months of our junior year. It turns out, we both liked each other, though never told each other. We both spent much of our junior year being alone, sad, depressed, not knowing we both had feelings for each other. She has a new boyfriend now, and I guess I’m just trying to move forward in life. I just sometimes think of what could’ve been if we both knew.

Oh my god Unique, this is great! It's calm, serene, and with a genuine touch of longing and love. I'm glad you're doing well on your own, with a lot of freedom to express your music. This is really reminiscent to all the pinoy ballads in the late 90's/early 2000's, and my nostalgia meter's off the heights hearing this.

Her boyfriend was two years older than we were, who just graduated from our high school. He was stronger, taller, and handsome. Even though he wasn’t at our school anymore, they were still together.
I decided not to tell her about my feelings to not interfere with their relationship, and it hurt so much. Everyday, I wanted to tell her how I felt for her, but I never did because I cared for her. Everyday, I wanted to be that person who told her she was beautiful, that she was loved. But I guess things weren’t meant to be that way.
I listened to this song many times to try to ease the pain I felt. I’ve never related to a song so much before.
Towards the end of the school year, I finally moved on.
Summer passed and it was now our senior year. I heard that over the summer, the two broke up. By this time, I was with someone else now. Things weren’t going well though, as she broke up with me just after a couple of months.
One thing I learned about the girl I initially liked was that her boyfriend wasn’t treating her very well while she was still in school, which is why they eventually broke up.
What I didn’t know was that she spent much of our junior year depressed over her current boyfriend. And, she also kind of had feelings me the last few months of our junior year. It turns out, we both liked each other, though never told each other. We both spent much of our junior year being alone, sad, depressed, not knowing we both had feelings for each other.
She has a new boyfriend now, and I guess I’m just trying to move forward in life. I just sometimes think of what could’ve been if we both knew.
