This! My Chinese is not super fluent, but even I get the gist that the "analysis" here is not what I'd expect from an expert or even a dance enthusiast. There's a few Western reaction videos by contemporary dancers on 飞天 that actually breaks down and analyse the movements and how the traditional and contemporary dance aspects were melded together, and I feel like that kind of analysis has more weight than just "this was not perfect". I would have thought fellow Chinese would be more appreciative to their countrymen for representing Chinese traditional aspects on an international stage, it's befuddling to see that foreigners are actually appreciating this more!
This always happens in ANY country whenever any artists start to venture into incorporating traditional dance aspects into contemporary dance. There would suddenly be a million nitpicky, meticulous scrutiny and comments, suddenly everyone is a traditional dance expert! And then when they've succeeded in driving that artist away, the same people would lament that ohhhh the youth nowadays is forgetting the traditional arts! Honestly, almost everywhere the resurgence of traditional dance in pop culture is a new field, hence it would also be new to the executors and is still in the learning stage. To compare it to either purely traditional or purely modern dance as a standard would be questionable because it's entirely a different animal. But I suppose, those who dare not try, complain. Good thing you have a TH-cam channel, my dude! :)
I watched your videos on TH-cam and 抖音. Your opinions toward Yixing and his team are always negative and favorite that person and his team. You are entitled to your biased opinions but please do not disguise yourself as an expert , a better dancer or impartial.
Haiz… if u are gd..show it to us then.. study finish then talk abt it…u don’t say so much when u say u need to study. Don’t compare like that if u are not gd in Chinese culture

Like at the same time people would be dissing him because he's "just an idol" but then in the same breath they'd be like "Oh but we have to compare this idol to a professional, academy dancer". Like make it make sense.

这舞看起来编得很有意思啊～ 飞天其实是古典舞下非常特别的一个分支，敦煌舞，因为是通过敦煌壁画研究辅以今人的想象来尽可能还原动态舞姿，所以这个舞种造型感强，眼神手势的要求极其细致，舞者的身体重心、发力方式、气息和运动轨迹也与主流古典舞有很大差异，受到很多西域文化的影响。敦煌舞因为造型多，舞动的过程中会有很多自然的顿点，这点上可能与街舞比较契合，重心与发力方式也比主流古典舞融合起来容易一点点

@@jin8331 想到这几年比较出圈的大众综艺里能看到的男生敦煌舞可能就是这个《石壁绝响》的前半段了：th-cam.com/video/BoRBost5qCE/w-d-xo.html 敦煌舞造型多变，卡顿更多（主流古典舞更追求绵延不绝的流水感），手眼细致（因为要尽量还原历史壁画），重心更低，身体经常需要在放松的状态中突然收紧，松紧结合，对身体控制的要求非常高。

老实说初次看的时候 觉得 伴舞们有点不够给力啊 后来发现 细节太多 很难控制 还要整齐。
我还以为真的在认真点评飞天这个舞蹈..没想到啥也没说...这热度蹭的也太没水准了...完全没感受到尊重和礼貌...
