You are correct on the process of making forged carbon fiber, or any other type for that matter. It doesn't mean it's plastic though, it is a composite materiel where the carbon fibers themselves play a crucial rôle in the strength, lightness and toughness of the material
In your opinion and experience, will automatic and quartz watches disappear and smart watches will rise, or will automatic watches remain stronger than smart watches and will remain and not disappear??????

I understand that if you look under a microscope, you'll find the difference, but just how many of you really inspect a watch at that level when you see someone with a watch?

I got mine and returned it in a few days. This is my first PRX and the last one. I really didn't like the combination of the carbon and polished hands, indices, and date window frame. It just takes away from the all-black concept. The same goes for the movements; at least make them black. Finally, I just didn't like the PRX. I think it's a very overrated watch. The quality is decent, but in general, it felt like a toy.
What a bad review. Nothing about the improved movement? Did you even know they threw away the plastic parts in their powermatic movement for a silicium hairspring? Did you know this prx has a sapphire caseback, while other prx’s use mineral glass?
The adpt watch (or boldr) are awful looking. Terrible job of designing a watch. The worn and wound team should have hired a designer, there are many. Look at what VPC did with a good designer.
