    I was there same time as Tulsi in Iraq, I was in the Air Force she was in the Army. When I was on night shift, I use to volunteer at the CASF; their job is to put the injured on a plane to get them to our bases in Germany. You get the patients setup in a litter, bus the out to the flight line and load them on the racks in a plane (C-5, C-130, C-135, etc). The biggest impact to me was afterwards is you wait at the end of the cargo bay for the main hospital tent to bring those in the most critical condition and help load them on the racks. You see people in really bad shape; and that's statement doesn't do it justice. Many of them having heavy life support equipment attached to their litter. You're only thought when you are carrying their litter loading them on the rack is 'I will not drop you'; you believe it like it's you only existence in life; nothing else mattered at that moment.
    I couldn't bring myself to volunteer for Patriot duty after volunteering at CASF for a month. I just don't think I was strong enough to face the reality of the consequences to us being there. After seeing those still alive but barely hanging on- seeing a flagged draped coffin might've broken me. Thinking about it brings tears to my eyes.
    I share this cuz seeing Tulsi sharing it inspires me to do the same.

      To volunteer to only deal with that side of the war is hard for me to understand.

There are a lot of slugs living a comfortable and privileged existence because of the idea that we must circle the earth with weapons made in America. And the best way to accomplish that is to make hard working Americans believe that it is worth sacrificing the lives of our best and brightest people by spending trillions of dollars getting our asses kicked by poor people 😢

      If you are judging this based off of this one video then you are mistaken. They have uploaded quite of few episodes with Tulsi prior to this where they were very professional in the discussion. This one explains how she came to be on the show.... "Off The Record: How We Got Tulsi Gabbard on the Show" and in this one they discussed her book... "Off The Record: Tulsi Gabbard Wants You to Rethink the Democratic Party"

      @@bethnichols2875 Cool, anyways. you should be a reporter. Just know that, yes, this "judgement" is based off of what I have seen in the video. This doesn't mean that I have not seen other video of Tulsi and the guys. What is your angle? To know more than others? please kick rocks.
      My comment is merely a positive one. My comment mentions her as a person who shows professionalism under the pressure of the careful boys and their antics. Not of her as a democrat or any affiliation. She also mentions that she would like to be on the side that could make a biggest difference. Change in a positive way is her purpose. I found it very interesting to see politicians having good conversations with normal people.
      Unlike you, so uncool.

    • @bethnichols2875
      @bethnichols2875 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@number1Tone You gave a back handed compliment to the guys in saying "they did their best". As if, they didn't also handle themselves in a professional manner while having Tulsi on as a guest, which isn't the case. That is why I wondered if you were basing that off of only this one video of them asking her weird questions and not all the videos as a collective. I have seen some comments where people have remarked that they hadn't seen all the videos so it was not out of left field to wonder if that was the case with you as well.
      As to your "go kick rocks". How very immature of you to suggest such a thing. In the words of the artist formerly known as Prince..."Act your age, not your shoe size."

    What people (sometimes) fail to understand about the Constitution was that it's authors weren't great because they were perfect, they were great because they knew they weren't. They imagined a structure that was capable of growing and being better, because they knew *people* were capable of growing and being better; they put the idea of a better world ahead of any personal prejudices they may have held. Tulsi is sooo pretty and smart. She is my favorite politician after Trump, I hope they both team up for the 2024 election, she would look great in a MAGA hat and would serve our country great. If they ever make a movie about her, I want Nikki Limo to play her part, they both look so similar. She is a great person, she serves our country very well. Thank you Tulsi for your service. Thanks Bart for having her on the show. God bless all of you. I love you guys.♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

    Just saw this episode and subscribed. Awsume job guys, I'm a fan. Two things; 1) What comeback could you have to someone saying the Constitution is racist? When they were writing it they knew if slavery came up everyone would leave so Madison came up with a compromise that helped lead to the eventual end of slavery. That compromise was to end any further *legal importation of slaves from other countries. *Of course illegal slavery continued. Racism in regards to slavery was peculiar to the American colonies and pretty much started with a group of southerners who immigrated from Great Britain, from a ethnicity all but nonexistent today. See Thomas Sowell's work on this subject. Thomas Sowell is himself a black man and brilliant economist. Remember also that when slavery ended it was by the North and not the south who were Democrats and we became the only country in history to end slavery on "MORAL" grounds. 2)My grandfather Adolph Kutzer was a 1st generation American whose parents immigrated to America in 1848 (Texas). They were raised in the German community of Boerne west of San Antonio. They went to school but were taught in German as not enough people lived there to make it worthwhile. Their textbooks were printed in German including Texas history. I have a book given to my grandfather by his teacher. A book of poetry and short stories about what Texas, their new home looked like through their eyes as newly arrived immigrants. I've been working on translating it into English which is difficult as those folks spoke a mixed dialect version of German as they came here from all over Germany. It's called Texas German. There are German colonies in Mexico as well. During WWII Adolph was made a Spotter by the U.S. Government due to his proximity to Mexico. He spoke Spanish as well and learned English after marrying Mabel Gibson daughter of Isaac Conrad Gibson ( killed by 'Killin' Jim Miller's hired assassin's). Just 100 miles to the South West was an internment camp for Germans so Japanese Americans were not alone in having civil liberties stolen. Peace ya'll....

    Great show, very entertaining and informative. About her name Tulsi, We in India grew up with Tulsu Plant. It is Sacred plant and can be consumed raw for health benefit if it is placed high enough so the dogs cannot pee on it, cause every dog will try to pee on this plant, in our mythology, Tulsu was cursed by some Sage that dog will love to pee on it. This Plant has no noticeable flower that I can remember. So it's is just the plant that we worship and use it's leaf in our ritual.
