ok.. that key was specially broken at the base and is a VERY simple thing to remove !! most keys break much further down usually at the first cut. sometimes second cut.. if your key has a very deep cut near the fob end , then its likely to snap due to stress from constant turning. Most ends snap with a tumbler falling down blocking the removal of the key. Get a safety pin and open it out, and bend the very end tip 90 degrees. Slide this down the groove of the key about 1/2 inch. Apply slight twisting pressure so the pointed bit digs into the key. Use a opened up Paper clip to push the tumbler out of the way and then slowly pull the safety pin out and the broken bit should come out too. Once you have the broken part out, take both parts of the key to a locksmith / key duplication centre and they should be able to make a duplicate. Have fun ! Hope this helps some one. This will work on vehicle door locks and your house lock ect..
Thanks for sharing. I used the wire from two bread ties to get the broken key out of our 2001 Chevy Tahoe ignition. Saved us some money from calling a locksmith.
Thanks bro...this method definitely worked to remove a broken key from my 2001 Hovda CRV driver door, which some a-hole broke off flush trying to break into it. It was a bitch, but took less than 15 minutes and out it came...🤙
My TVS Jupiter seat key broke and got struck. Let me try this trick. I can't afford to buy a new one. Hope it will work out. Will comment again if it works.
Jam two wires in the holes. Then twist the wires so the wires are tight and there is friction and pinch from the wires towards the key. Then just pull the wires extremely fast and there's a chance that the friction will pull the key out. Then just pull the rest out. But yeah the video kinda sucked.
My key broke and it happened when l got a new ignition switch put in. So now, love been given 2 new keys, however these keys don't lock my door. I own a 96 Toyota Camry. I was told to bring in the old, half key and old ignition switch, to a Toyota dealership....lm wondering if anyone knows what this will cost me...anybody know?
Generally speaking ... must be very stupid to break the key ... doesn't matter where ... in the car ignition or in the door lock or in the padlock 🤕🤦♂️
I did it this way the same wire and work after almost 30 minutes, 2 locksmith usa tried and nothing, they was going to charge me $320 and the 2nd guy 280$, CRAZY!
You just saved me from the scold session.

Great idea. I’m going to try it.
Thanks
My mom pushed it in even further
😂I was thinking a strong magnet should pull it out.
@@dominicanchu1italike you just have one laying around oh brother
Most keys are brass which has no attraction to magnets.
@@dominicanchu1itamost keys are made out of brass, which is not magnetic.
Thank you. Will try that tomorrow!

Good job you
Nice !
Youre a fucking life saver

you dont explain anything on how this process works. just jam wires in and that makes it work?

I used a jig saw blade. It took 1 minute to get out.
I have mine stuck on tahoe also can you explain to me how exactly you got it out
@@adgarica27 he must have forgotten till now
Where do u get that wore from?
Noooice!
Yeah right
Mad key snapper
WHAT IF THE CAR IGNITION IS ON THEN WHAT?
Then you turn it off
Brah!😀💕👊👍
Try a magnet anybody?
I just gave my friend one i use for magnet fishing I'll let you no if it works It can left 50kg
Keys are steel or alloy, not iron. Magnets won't work
Brass does NOT stick to a magnet at all
Period
But mine is deep in how?
Yeah same with mine
That's what he said
No

This will NEVER work unless the ends of the vire is barbed or, you will need to twist them together to grip the key
That didn't make any sense
Nope
